Hi, guys. Haven't logged in for quite a while. Is there a separate location here for a swap & shop? The reason I ask is because I bought 2 boxes of the Legion VS SYSTEM trading cards, and want to swap and/or sell my extras to complete my set.

There are 220 cards total. I'm missing 20 cards (approximately 7 which are Legion related). I think 2 boxes equals 672 cards, so I have a lot to trade/sell.

I actually just got my first box and am waiting on the second. Once I have it I'll be more than glad to trade cards with anyone to work towards a full set.

Has anyone seen a good spreadsheet created for the Legion set yet?

Never mind, I made my own. I'll post my dupes when I've had time to sort the cards after my second box gets here.

I got a coupla packs to check 'em out. I noticed some non-Legion characters - do the Legion only represent a portion of the characters covered? I'm thinking I don't really need eeeeevery card from this set, mostly the Legion ones I think.

Besides the Legion-related cards (events, places, villains, etc) the Teen Titans are represented quite heavily. Enough, in fact, that I'm surprised this was just called Legion of Super-Heroes and not Legion/Titans: Universe Ablaze.

I bought a pack just for the heck of it (and to support my old comic store while I was in town).

Don't think I'll ever play the game, but the art is pretty nice.

woo hoo I got a box for christmas! It isn't the best VS set I've seen, and it wont be the easiestr faction to play, but I am still glad I have it.

I've analyzed the 2 boxes that I bought, and this is what I've determined...

LEGION VS SYSTEM:
220 cards + 5 special cards
14 cards per pack
24 packs per box
1 card per pack is foil

BREAKDOWN:
110 Common cards
55 Uncommon cards
55 Rare cards
3 Stacker cards
2 Extended cards

STATS:
Based on survey of 2 boxes (672 cards), the following was found:

444 non-foil Common cards
24 foil Common cards
144 non-foil Uncommon cards
12 foil Uncommon cards
36 non-foil Rare cards
12 foil Rare cards
0 Stacker cards
0 Extended cards

Odds of getting 1 Common card (foil or non-foil) = 468:672 = 69.64%
Odds of getting 1 non-foil Common card = 444:672 = 66.07%
Odds of getting 1 foil Common card = 24:672 = 3.57%
Odds of getting 1 Uncommon card (foil or non-foil) = 156:672 = 23.21%
Odds of getting 1 non-foil Uncommon card = 144:672 = 21.43%
Odds of getting 1 foil Uncommon card = 12:672 = 1.79%
Odds of getting 1 Rare card (foil or non-foil) = 48:672 = 7.14%

The oddest thing I noticed was that the Uncommon and Rare foil cards (in my sample) didn't seem to be uncommon or rare.
110 of the 220 cards (50%) are type Common, 50% of the foil cards are Common.
55 of the 220 cards (25%) are type Uncommon, 25% of the foil cards are Uncommon.
55 of the 220 cards (25%) are type Rare, 25% of the foil cards are Rare.

Compare that to the non-foil cards.
110 of the 220 cards (50%) are type Common, 71.15% of the non-foil cards are Common.
55 of the 220 cards (25%) are type Uncommon, 23.08% of the non-foil cards are Uncommon.
55 of the 220 (25%) cards are type Rare, 5.77% of the non-foil cards are Rare.

TRADING (preliminary suggestion):
1 non-foil Common card = 66.07% = 37 points
1 non-foil Uncommon card = 21.43% = 12 points
1 non-foil Rare card = 5.36% = 3 points
1 foil Common card = 3.57% = 2 points
1 foil Uncommon card = 1.79% = 1 point
1 foil Rare card = 1.79% = 1 point
(Examples: 1 non-foil Uncommon for 3 non-foil Common, 1 non-foil Rare for 12 non-foil Common, etc.)

But if you are collecting legion only and aren't planning on playing pick up the singles on ebay. You aren't even guaranteed all the uncommons in a single box.
