Maybe it is being released then to coincide with DnA returning to DC on a exclusive basis
Or possibly to coincide with the start ot Grant Morrisons Multiverse thing

Nah, they've got an ongoing (Heroes for Hire) at Marvel that hasn't even STARTED yet, and a Transformers/Ghostbusters/Star Trek crossover at IDW. (And Abnett's only mention of DC in a recent podcast interview was to say that editorial changes meant they "had to leave" Legion "two and a half stories" before they were done, as a comparison with Marvel letting them get to Thanos Imperative, the end of a similar "big scheme".)

Just noticed that it's listed as being 296 pages while the original 12 issue run totals 265 pages.
I wonder what the extra will be??

Well, 12 pages of covers, for a start  I doubt there'll be much, if any, extra material - between ~265 interior pages, 12 covers, title page, credit page, indicia page, probably a "blank" page between issues, etc., any excess is quickly dealt with.
