Just some questions I thought up.

Some explanations to some questions.
Question 1: I included Ayla as Lightning Lass and as Light Lass so you can choose which power you would want her to have.

Question 4: This does not have to match powers with Question 3. So if you picked Cosmic Boy to go to the X-men, you do not have to pick Polaris to go to the Legion. Also, do not worry about the Legion's duplication of powers rule. So you can pick Shadowcat even though Phantom Girl has basically the same power.

Question 5: I left out Mon-el & Karate Kid as they already have had solo titles.

Question 7: This would be as platonic pals, so don't put the Legionnaire that you want to have sex with.

That was a great poll QE!
My choices for the 5 Legionnaires for the live action movie were exactly the same 5 in the first choice in the sub-group choice, without scrolling down to see that question first.

You should do these polls on a regular basis. smile

I'm glad I wasn't the only person who voted Espionage Squad for the second-title question.

As for solo, I actually voted Dawnstar-- because she needs something to do besides stand around all the time reminding the fanboys that ZOMFG!!11 women have bewwwwwwbs while she angsts about Wildfire!

Do you know how hard I racked my brain to come up with those questions?

That was a very different poll. I liked it.

Espionage Squad for the second Legion title? Yes please!

I almost voted for Dawnstar for the solo title because I think she (like Mon-el) could really shine in a solo 'travel around the galaxy meeting strange people and dangers' type of title. But ultimately I voted for Matter-Eater Lad because a) he needs the attention and b) he could have a really cool semi-funny/semi-serious title happening. And the arch villain of his book? Nardo of course!

I don't read the X-Men so those questions weren't really for me. I voted for Brainiac 5 to go to them so that he can steal panel-time from some other characters for a change, and Bishop to come to the Legion because it doesn't have enough minorities. I would have voted for the male Japanese X-man but I couldn't remember if that was Sunspot or Sunfire.

But both of them need to take care, if we find they've been creepin' 'round up that stair...

I voted Dawnstar for the X-Men - I think her temperament would fit the team, and she has a power which is pretty unique among superheroes in general....I am kind of surprised she has such a massive lead though!

Also, Tenzil for solo title - YAY!!

For the live action movie, I chose the founders plus Luornu and Tinya....it was very nearly Luornu and Chuck, but I don't think I've ever really seen anything with just the first five members and it would be interesting having a female-heavy roster...

If DC ever wants to publish a Matter-Eater Lad series, EDE and I can provide finished scripts for 20 issues! You can read them in the BITS forum!

I was kinda interested in the all-girls squad, but then voted for the Espionage Squad anyway, 'cause I liked the sound of it!

No surprise that Nightcrawler is hands-down favorite to jump from the X-Men (who killed him! Boo!) to the Legion.

I was tempted to pick Shady (among others) for the movie, but remembered how non-visual her power is. She's just not built for a cinematic team action movie, I think. Kinda by accident, I ended up with two couples, Tinya & Jo and Ayla & Brin, and Gim as a stand alone, which, visually, should make an interesting five-some to pit against the Fatal Five!

I picked Tyroc for a movie. His power is so much more suited to that medium than it is comics (obviously). The others I picked were Chameleon Boy - an easy yet visually exciting power to display onscreen, plus he adds that 'alien' factor to the Legion. Shadow Lass for ditto plus I'd love to see if she'd look as beautiful on screen as she does on the page. Phantom Girl because it's another cool looking visual power. I can't remember who my fifth one was - Sun Boy maybe? To have another blasty-power type of character.

I purposely avoided any of the founders - tired of their interactions.

I voted Gates to go to the X-Men. He'd be correct in complaining about them being a "Death Squad," and have the power to escape Wolverine when he does. smile

A Chameleon Boy detective mini would be great!

Subgroup - Gates, Quislet, and Matter-Eater Lad? Together? I'm there!

Nightcrawler's dead? I didn't know that. I don't read Xmen anymore.

I voted for Wildfire for a solo book because I think he would make an interesting character to follow month after month (what with the whole discombobulated body-is-now-energy thing going on).
Add that to his ties with the Legion and the Legion's past (as leader, often hothead, star-crossed lovers thing with Dawny) and you would have an interesting book, or even mini series, I think.

I had forgotten about that, but it was just a mini-series rather than an on-going title.

Interesting poll. Since I do not know the XMen it was hard to answer. (I just picked one) As for who to send to the Xmen, well that was easy..phantom girl, just to get rid of her.

Other than working my way through Morrison's stuff, I don't like or read much X-men, so I gave them Magno. He won't be missed.

I took Cyclops, only because I think he should be more interesting than what Marvel does with him.

Absolutely agree on an Espionage Squad title (even a mini-series)! I have thought for years that was a concept dying for a closer look.

Looking over the characters for movie consideration, it occured to me that the vast majority of those folks would require too much back story to make an effectively tight tale. Oddly, the one character I could easily see adapted into a film, though, would be Quislet. An alien who flies around in a little spaceship, animating inanimate objects? That is a Pixar hit waiting to happen!

Hey, where's the love for XS? She would have been a lot of answers to my questions!

Also, I found it funny that Nightcrawler was overwhelmingly the X-Man that everyone would put in the Legion. I mean, a blue teleporter!? Where are we ever going to find one of those?

That's because Nightcrawler was created to be a Legion character by Dave Cockrum before he started working for Marvel. It's a sort of righting old wrongs/what might've been instinct behind the vote.

I didn't even think of that when I voted, though. I picked Magma, because she sure ain't getting any love by the current administration. And her powers would be unique to the Legion. Okay, Sun Boy's are sort of similar, in effect (and visually and coloration).

Wouldn't Nova Roma be a cool homeworld in the U.P., though?
