Those of you following JLA must know that something is going on with the NATIVE AMERICAN, TIME DISPLACED CHARACTER >>>DAWN. I know there has been alot of speculation on this but with Dawnstar figuring in with the first issue's of the orginal Crisis, it seems something is just around the corner. JLA 121 and 122 Dawn is really front and forward saying this force (antimonitor) will be using her some how. She also ties into Days of Vengence. What does this have to do with Shikari being displaced? Are we dealing with a multiverse? Any thought's?

I dont follow JLA Imsk, so can you give me a quick synopsis of this time displaced character, how did she appear, whats she look like, what powers is she showing?

Is that Manitou Dawn? I read a blurb somewhere. I dont really read JLA anymore either.

well, Dawnstar is on Legion of SuperHeroes #15 cover. yeah it's true, alongside the "Multiverse's Greatest Heroes, with Tyroc and Blok".

Yeah, right ...

well, that's what the solicitation says....not me.

And a certain boy editor did tell me that the cover to 15 would "knock them out" when I asked if he had any messages for Legion World

Is that for real? I'm having trouble sifting through the red herrings here lately;).

On the DC boards they are complaining that the solicit has been taken down again so maybe it was a fubar and was released too early?

Then again it might just be tptb yankin our chains

My eyes must really be going. I couldn't see this clearly until the larger version was posted (in the solicitations thread, which I didn't look for earlier).

Sorry about implying that it was a joke, but I've lowered my expectations over the years. And I hope that these three Bronze Age Legionnaires figure into the story.

But Tyroc looks as he did pre-ZERO HOUR - what gives? Are these heroes real or illusions?

The simple explanation here, from the sheer volume of characters on the cover, is that the Legion is stepping up recruitment and those are three of the people who show up. That would make them reboot versions of the the original characters, the same as everyone else currently in the Legion today.

That being said, the fact that they are in their Levitz era costumes suggests that they are not of our current reality...I would assume that Barry would have updated their costumes if they were simply new members.

I don't know what the heck is going on, but the mere appearance of these three classic Legionnaires has to mean something positively dramatic is about to happen to the Legion!!! The only thing that doesn't make sense is that even if the preboot Legion exists "out there" somewhere, why would Troy be in his original Tyroc garb?

hmm...funny...all I can think, is what does Dawny's chest look like in zero-g - especially if she is flapping her wings.

We don't flap our wings. They shape subspace energy vectors in four dimensions. That's how we get around.

Actually flapping would require 30-foot wingspans, a foot-thick breastbone to attach the needed muscles, and nearly constant eating. (The phrase "eat like a bird" always suggested the exact opposite of the truth.)

So our genetic engineers cut out the atmospheric middleman and got us into directly manipulating spacetime. It's a lot easier. All that our wings have to do with air is to make far more elegant and useful movements when we are in atmospheres. That's what appealed to my brother-in-law, Mon-el .

In short, her breasts don't get in the way.
