How difficult can it be for the editor to tell the colorist that Dream Girl's hair is platinum?? Sheesh!!

I thought that was a cool way for Tyroc to use his powers. I like that Levitz is utilizing him in interesting ways. platinum .... like/hence her costume. methinks. her costume all this time hasn't been yellow or gold. she looked great otherwise! and i agree the team could use some optimism ... (yet in the other timeline sun boy's leadership is the beginning of the end) maybe lightning lass! and T Wolf is stil not super-agile.

There's still Jeckie to represent the platinum contingent, at least. Then again, I don't mind Tyroc's costume, either. Maybe I'm just weird.

I'm loving Tyroc. Sonic powers are really impressive, I think, if the writers and artists can use their imaginations and even just some of the current applications. The ability that Levitz and Cinar displayed this time was wonderful!
The only thing I'd change on his costume is the color, I'd go for all white and leave the badges the way that they are.
It's nice to see Brek and Dirk back at the HQ. I wonder what Lar is doing?
The others must have seen Zendak kill the counselor, are they Durlans, too?
Beautiful pages.
A singin' and a dancin' along the way.

Nice preview! I liked everything except Tyroc's awkwardly fugly costume and Dream Girl's blonde hair.
So... Brek got a new arm hey? That's why Monel took him to Daxam, not for a romantic vacation as some have speculated.
I hope Nura gets some sort of premonition this issue about what's going on with Zendak and the Durlans. Now that she's back from Naltor she's close enough to the action to give us a clue even?
The artwork is excellent and continues to improve.

It can't be both?

Sure it could, I don't see why not anyway. And it kind of makes sense if they plan on doing a lot of holding hands.

Another great issue.
Earth-Man vs. Mon-El was great (I really want more of that), though I suspect people won't be happy with Shady's reactions.
The back-up was good too, with acknowledgment of Brainy's bad attitude being a recent development, and Cham & Brainy together was like I was reading a Baxter issue again.
Tyroc, Cos and T-Wolf all shined in the the Durlan encounter.
Paul even brings up Brekk's previous leader term (though his memory of it is a bit rosier than the reality methinks).
A lot to like here.

Agree that Dream Girl's new blonde hair is a mistake. It's distracting and doesn't work with her costume which has been one of the most visually exciting ones since Cockrum amped in up in SB #199.

Yeah, I don't know where people were getting the romance speculation. I reread the previous issues together and you can see a progression. While everyone was clearing Titan's wreckage, Brainy tells Mon to take a huge ice ball to Tharr. And while he's heading in that direction he suggests Mon take Polar Boy to Daxam to get a new arm. Then a couple issues later it's mentioned that Polar Boy and Mon are on Daxam (implying that Mon did convince him to fix his arm). And now we see Polar Boy back with a new arm. Ta-da!

Concerning Nura'a hair. The way she reacted to Sun Boy trying to touch her hair, which seemed extreme to me, makes me think that something is going on. Is she a Durlan in disquies? Is she really Nura? Is she Spider Girl pretending to be Nura?

Maybe there's a limit of only one white-haired Legionnaire per panel.
Just read it. Enjoyed it, but would've preferred 1 long story to 3 short ones.
Gorgeous and huge portrait of Mon-El on . . . that one page, which shall remain numberless. Christ, that's irritating. What do they have against page numbers?
Were the ambassadors supposed to be Winathians? Is that why they were twins?

Don't know if it was a coloring mistake, but Dreamy's hair was blond, not white. Lends credence to the "imposter" theory.
Damn you, you kids! Get off my lawn or I'm callin' tha cops!
Something pithy!

I just read the full issue and it was awesome! ( it was sold out again at my local CBS by the way, a good sign. ) If Monel was standing in front of me right now I would kiss him for what he did to E Man. Who the heck gives that <strike>nazi</strike> racist pig the right to question Monel anyway? When Mon becomes leader (which will be amazing btw) he can officially kick that idiot's butt off the team once and for all. As far as I'm concerned Shady can go right along with him. Crazy b*tch! Anyways, I liked how Dreamy was just being her usual playful self and bugging Sun Boy about his touching her hair (I'm adopting that saying as part of my avatar because I love it ... and her as well). It is just so great to have her back again that I don't even mind the blond hair thing ... whatever. She still looks way better as a platinum blond though Mr. Levitz!!! Timber Wolf got some great moments in here, as did Cosmic Boy who was his usual best in the leadership role. I know, I KNOW, we're all tired of that, but the facts speak for themselves. I hate to be the bad guy about Tyroc but I have to speak my mind here: 1. I really love that he's back. No question there. 2. He has a freakin' fugly hard-on-the-eyes costume. The design and colours are one of the worst combos I ever seen on a superhero. 3. The use of his powers is, I hate to say it, confusing me already. I am getting this delayed deja vu feeling again just like I did waaaaaaay back thinking "gosh you know, Tyroc's powers almost make him God-like. This guy could probably do anything he wants. That's what I thought back 30 years ago, and that's exactly how I feel today. That's the real problem I have with him right there. Nuff said. The B story was ok, but managed to annoy me more than captivate me about Li's mysterious background. Brainy should have deduced her true identity by now, so that in itself is a bit disappointing for me. the best part of this story was seeing Cham in action. I'm so glad he plays a huge part in this current story. All in all, and it gives me so much pleasure to type this, I am hooked! And sooooooo happy again to have MY Legion back and going strong!!

Well, this isn't my Legion, exactly, since I prefer the reboot, but I did enjoy this issue.
Love Lar. You know, in real life, when a couple is your friends, then, they break up? You know how you usually go with one or the other for a friend and kind of disconnect with the other one? I'm going with Lar. It felt kind of strange to not care at all how she looks in that terrible outfit or the stupidity of her words.
It used to offend me in the roleplaying books that Shady's IQ was one of the lowest in the Legion - only Brin's was lower, I think. Anyway, Paul wrote the Companions and now I see that he's having her conform to those stats.
And she may have broken up with her powerhouse but she still thinks that a boyfriend is what defines her. Joke, she's a joke.
Anyway, I don't find Tyroc either over powered or confusing. I like him better than I ever did before. I WOULD like to see a little shadow of stubble on his head, though.
Li's been around a long, long time, huh. I really want to find out who and what, she is!

Star Boy will return eventually. That's great news.
Hate the Shadow Lass development, but loving everything else. The return of Matter-Eater Lad and Bouncing Boy would make me happier.
