with my bday coming and since i haven't spent a dime on anything that's not car related on my self in over three months i was wondering if i could get some help looking for and issue that i want to get...

Legion of Super-Heroes (vol. 3) # 30 but i have no idea what number that is so is so can some one help with the number so i can hunt it down???

im guessing from what i was trying to find it on my own on the web sadly thought they call kept saying vol 3 issues thirty but thought i was unlikely hence why i asked here

what i want to find are the issues that Rond 'died' for the first time

That's the "Brainy's Lucky Day" story and it is #30. It's one of my favourite issues, not because Rond dies, but for Dr. Chaseer and a whole lot of other stuff going on.

People have different classifications for the volumes/series, so that can get confusing.

FC is correct... and generally, that is indeed considered vol. 3 by organized fandom.

That's The Universo Project. It sort of starts in #31 (people falling asleep; most of that issue is a flashback story) but really gets going in #32 and runs for 4 issues.

Universo starts popping up in disguise as early as #10 or #11 or so (the presidential election issue), and we learn his identity somewhere around the mid-20s.

it was quite a lot of set-up. The post-flashback sequence in #31 isn't immediately apparent as part of the scheme, for instance, and Jeckie assumes Jacques was less-than-attentive to her tale (before she too falls asleep).
