Okay, so how about this:

We know that Earth Man is going to sleep with someone, and apparently not be very happy about it.

Theory: Earth Man attempts to mindwipe whomever he sleeps with (after borrowing Imra's power), and this somehow leads to the revelation of Imra's earlier mindwipe of Cos, thus leading to Cos's dramatic decision (whatever that is).

To me, he sleeps with Imra because, you know, she is such a husky...

maybe both Ayla and Vi! That should be enough to turn them gay again!

Well, Earth-Man is essentially a psychic vampire for lack of a better term. Vampires are used as allegories for sexual predators. So I don't think you're too far off...

I hope this has absolutely nothing to do with a mindwipe. I hate that plot device. It's been kind of a way of showing heroes as less than stellar over the last few years (Identity Crisis being the most well-known).

The other more recent mindwipe seemed much more in character to me, but I don't want to see any more of it.

So, who is EarthMan sleeping with? Lydda or Shady it looks like to me. Either one would probably cause a massive controversy given who they have been involved with in the past.

As for the issue of who Kirt is sleeping with, I wonder if there is a double-agent on the team. Someone that replaced a Legionnaire when Earthgov began their isolationist policy.

Hmm... is Uli Algor from Earth?

Could be the Supergirl robot. We know Brainy was plotting something devious, possibly not restricted to the flight ring.

Then Earth Man tries to mindwipe himself.

Of course, there's also Saturn Queen. Mindwipes all around! Which doesn't do anything to explain Cos' big decision, unless Earth Man (or Saturn Queen) spill the secret.

I'm assuming that the cover is lighted weirdly so that you can't see what color skin the woman has. Therefore it must be Shady.

The Supergirl robot would be interesting, though kind of creepy.

I looked up Uli Algor, it said she was human but born on another planet. They could easily make her planet out to be like Imperial India or Apartheid South Africa.

Actually I was thinking about it later, and was thinking that she was from the Pirate Planetoid (New Tortuga), which I would presume is an Earth colony. Or I could just be completely misremembering.

She is??!?!? I never heard that one before! Is she like Wolfsbane of the New Mutants? Can she pull a dogsled? Has she competed in the iditarod? Where's Sketch Lad when you need him?

So maybe he just slept with her to keep warm, you know like a 3 dog night. He was just mildly chilly so he only needed one dog.

So they've established Saturn Girl mindwipes people if she cant remember what happened. I'll bet she pulls a Scarlet Witch after Earthman attempts to wipe her memory.

Thinking more about this (and seriously), just how much of another's power can Earth Man absorb? A lot has been made over the years of how Saturn Girl had to train intensively to master her power, how she was one of the best students - in other words, anyone from Titan can read minds, but not everyone does it well. Mindwiping (and other stuff she does) could be very difficult. Would Kirt absorb her expertise as well as her basic power?

This would apply to other powers he uses as well.

Secondly, I'm starting to think the cover is one of those big fake-outs. Look how we're all absorbed, so to speak, with it. (I hope it's not fake, because that sort of trick is really disappointing.)

It is of course possible that Earth Man is not sleeping with a legionnaire at all and the two rings are a distraction to make us all think that way.

If he is unhappy with what he has done that would seem to indicate that the woman is perhaps not human?

Y'know, despite the prominent hips on Earth Man's bedmate, are we so sure that's one of the female Legionnaires? In that position, it could just as easily be one of the guys.

Oh, as if.


I don't want Earth Man on my team anyway. The heteroppressors can have him.

For what it's worth, I'm not sure you can judge that much from the other figure on the cover. It could very well be a dummy image so as not to reveal the spoiler on the real cover.

After all, since we're supposed to get the big reveal in the previous issue, what's the point in keeping the figure hidden on this cover?

Advance siolicitations would be the point. No surprises if everything is revealed on the cover months before it comes out.

Maybe Earth Man borrowed some of D-Damsell's power and just slept with his favorite person in the whole wide world ... himself?
