So, this news came out about a week ago and no one's talking about it here. Is everyone too disappointed in Paul's run so far to care?

Like I said in another thread - I might have been disappointed if I'd heard the news a few months ago, but I now realise that I'd rather read an OK story about nearly any other DCU character than I would a crap Legion one.

New stories about the Adventure-era Legion had SO much potential. Instead we got... what we got.

What a shame. frown

I don't know how many more issues I'll buy.

but what's all this about a new Grant Morrison MULTIVERSE series??

That sounds rife with kickass potential!!!!

Sound like there won't be a change until next summer.
I don't think the Legion/Adventure marriage was intended to be permanent.

Knowing now that the series will end sooner rather than later just makes me want to keep collecting Adventure, so long as the Legion is a part of it.
If for no other reason it will make for a great footnote some day.

I've been enjoying it, just not the artwork!!
I like that Paul's been skipping around to different times in the Legion's past instead of a linear progression from issue to issue, although it seems to be confusing some readers.
It would be awesome to see these stories illustrated by Mike Allred in his silver age style!!

The stories haven't overly impressed so far, but I'm still enjoying the extra Legion fix. I expect that Paul's stories there will improve as the run continues.

I'll miss the extra Legion, but DC didn't really put much into this part of the run, imo.
It just feels half hearted and stretched thin, somehow.
Forced, is the word I'm looking for, I guess.

Like, stop trying to make them all dark and stuff, for today's market.
If you can't add to the Adventure era sheen, just leave it alone.

When it comes to the Legion I'm a completist so I'm glad I won't have to feel it necessary to buy a sub-par Adventure story anymore with a co-feature (Atom) I don't even bother to read. All in all a wasted opportunity.

I've been sort of luke warm to the Legion Series in Adventure so far. I think that an 8 page second feature in the main LSH book would be a better vehicle for previously untold Adventure Era Stories.

Does anyone know which issue will be the last to feature the Legion?
