Do you like the new powered up Duplicate Damsel or do you prefer the original powered Duo Damsel?

Ditto. (And why not Ditto Damsel?) I'd get used to Duplicate Damsel, but it sounds like a photocopier.

I'm generally in favor of heroines getting power upgrades.
Eh. "Duplicate Girl?" Whatever works, I guess.

I don't mind the power up, I just really don't like the name.

I don't mind the name so much. It seems like a combination of her previous codenames. Triplicate Girl & Duo Damsel. I did like Mark Waid's take on her and her power in the threeboot. I liked the take on her in the reboot where each self had a separate personality. But this power makes her seem like a poor duplicate of Jamie Madrox. I mean non-Legion fans already think that Timber Wolf is a knock off of Wolverine.

Yeah, but that's just wierdos who don't know that Timber Wolf predates Wolverine and Lu predates Jamie. I'm totally in favor of the power up, and she's not that similar to Jamie, whose power is kinetic absorbtion-into-duplicates, and more recently involves all sorts of craziness.

The name "Duo Damsel" is a classic, but "Duplicate Damsel" works for me. I like that they kept "Damsel". Despite its sexist overtones, it's unusual and fun.
The only character in all of literature who has been described as "badnass" while using the phrase "vile miscreant."

No, no, that's excellent! Best suggestion I've heard.

Except Madrox's power of unlimited duplicates really does precede Duplicate Damsel. Plus can anyone think of a new and interesting use of this power that hasn't been done already?

If she's holding an object when she duplicates/multiplies, she could have the power to duplicate the object as well. It works for her clothes and flight ring, why not for anything else? However, I wouldn't extend it to life forms, only inanimate objects.

Like Candle I'd hate to see this power-upgrade used as an excuse to kill off Luornu's bodies over and over, but so far I'm cautiously excited about the change. And can live with the somewhat clunky codename. (The 'Duplicate' part is great. The 'Damsel' part is great. They just don't sound so great together unfortunately.)
What I'm super-happy about though is that Chuck and Luornu are back on this team at all. They've been away far too long!
