"The Wolf howls in B-flat"
"Itsy Bitsy"
I'd guess Timber Wolf and Shrinking Violet for two of them.

One is with Vril Dox could be Phantom Girl and Monel who were on his team at one time or it could be brainy

I thought it was just that Vril had a flight ring, not that one of the Legionnaires was with him.

wow interesting. I read it real fast onmy lunch break on my way back from the shop. I will have to comb through it tonight.
That make sense that Kara has one, We know booster has one and clark has 2 and probably Monel or PG left one with Vril at some point.

I hope it's 1.Timber Wolf (Cockrum's Feral version) 2.Wildfire 3.Everybody Else
I tried to rip their soul out.I tried to make them forget Superman. But they won't.

Lightning Lad would make sense as the last member, since his name is apparently the code word that triggers Karate Kid to regain his memory.

We see Kara's return to the 21st century this week in WWIII. It looks like she was in Kitson's metropolis.
Man there's a lot of Legion rings floating around. Shouldn't Brainy be worried about contaminating the time stream with advanced technology.
I would assume that Vril stole a ring from Phase when she was amnesic. I'm assuming Clark has two rings because one was Conner's and one was his from his days in Smallville.

Yeah, that's what I figured as far as Vril and Superman's rings.
Though it's also a little odd, since some of the rings are from different versions of the Legion. I'm actually surprised they would be able to trace one another.

so the current best guess is 1. Star Boy 2. Dream Girl 3. Karate Kid 4. Dawnstar 5. Shrinking Violet 6. Timber Wolf 7. Lightning Lad
any other clues we may have missed?

No it was Thom's name that triggered Val's memory.
I'm guessing that the final member is Tyroc because Starman keeps talking about musical notes.
I'm also guessing that the villains that picked up the Ultrahumanite in 1948 include Lightning Lord.

I'm with Tamper Lad on the final member. I hope it's Tyroc. It would be good to see him for his, what? 6th adventure?

Hmm... I thought Thom's saying "Lightning Lad" in Interlac was what triggered Val's collapse, followed by "We're not the only ones here."
But it's certainly the lead-in to the whole "Angel screams in C-sharp" sequence, which he seems to be identifying the other members.

There's an Interlac translation screen in the Batcave in JLA #8, for your convenience.

interesting issue. several points.
1) as a 1583 rated player(class c) that whole chess thing really bugged me. regular humans have played blindfolded games against multiple opponents and have produced winning scores. so why would Mr. T, I can do multi-variable space-time coordinates in my head, use a cheap parlor trick? not to mention it looked Black Canary had a pawn on her first rank. that's an incorrect set up of the board.
whew. chess rant over.
Power girl. okay, she buys first edition Vauban. I don't know much about the character, but what is her day job? cause it sounds like something that would make Bruce save up for a month or two before buying.
on the last page. what's up with that composition. PG and the and other lady look like a photographer just shouted," That's it! Give me attitude, work it, work it!" hey DC, I like good look drawings as much as the next guy, but could you at least give them more natural poses?

For all we know, she could still have been in the future when she said that she needed to look for Starman. I bet Lightning Lad is involved in this. Not only because of the interlac, but because of the name of the whole arc.

Oh, and Karate Kid should have kicked Batman's butt. I hate it when they portray Val as less than adequate in fights.
Oh, well, I guess he was groggy from the drugs...

I am thinking that "Itsy Bitsy" isn't a clue to Shrinking Violet, but actually means the Bottle City of Kandor because Superman, Red Tornado, Cyclone, and Stargirl go to the Fortress of Solitude in JSA #5 (preview pages were shown on IGN.com)
I really liked the issue, and I can't wait to see the other Legionnaires in it.

Shouldn't the mods be moving this thread to the main forum soon, since it's an "official" crossover now.
I got the impression Val gave Batman an run for the money until Jefferson punked him out (although I disagree that Val shouldn't have seen that coming either).

I thought KK's takedown was believable since he wasn't totally himself and he was blindsided. I just think the art wasn't too clear on what happened.
I wonder what Lightning Lad has to do with all of this -- and why were there flashes of electricity on Val's eyes as he came to? Hmmm....

I wonder what period in the LSH this would be? Obviously, this is way before KK's death during the Baxter series. That should narrow down the possible members. More importantly to us Legion lovers would be how this Legion appearance shakes out. Some words from Dan Didio in an interview with Newsarama: “Oh, and the storyline that spins from the JLA/JSA crossover, which features members of the Legion of Super-Heroes touches on Countdown as well, and what you’ll find out is that Karate Kid was left in the past – in our time, hopefully to unravel what’s going on the DC Universe. He’s left behind for a purpose. It wasn’t his choice. He was left. http://forum.newsarama.com/showthread.php?t=109409 Guess this means that the Levitz Legion's presence ties into what's happening within the 52-week series "Countdown" (or what the series is counting down to) and I have a sense that the Monitors that have been popping up in the DCU (most recently in part 4 of the 52 spin-off "World War III") also play a role. Match it up with the hint that "The Bleed" from the Wildstorm Universe is now a reality in the DCU then it would appear that the multiverse really does exist...and that may allow us to have a Levitz Legion back this time around.

I wonder what period in the LSH this would be? Obviously, this is way before KK's death during the Baxter series. That should narrow down the possible members. As near as I can pin it, it's between Great Darkness and the start of the Baxter series. Possibly right around LSH #300. Assuming that DC's being careful with Legion continuity. (But if they are being this careful, then that could imply that certain Legionnaires aren't on the team. Like Light Lass, who quit after Great Darkness and rejoined (as Lightning Lass) after Karate Kid died. Or Shrinking Violet, who had been kidnapped by Imskian radicals and replaced by Yera for a long time in there (but who did come back before Karate Kid died, as I recall).)
