Shikari is a character who may most represent the Legion that DnA piloted. We have XS and Gates with the current team, and the "rule" of having one unique powered member on the team seems to be waived (with two shape-shifters, two lightning wielders, two telepaths, not to mention Earth-Man's duplicities) so the similar powers to Dawnstar would be a moot point.
Should Shikari be added to the currently featured Legion team?

I love Shikari, but I'd much rather see her guiding the New Wanderers thru the parallel universes.

I think she should be, just not right away. Levitz has enough Legionnaires to play with, they can add her after a death or two.

Only two?
I'd include her here if we're not going to have a New Wanderers regular series.

It occurs to me that Shikari and the Kwai could be a convenient means to the alternate "New Wanderers" universe. I enjoyed many of the elements DnA introduced to the Legion and would like to see them continued.
So far, after 17 votes, its divided fairly evenly.
BTW, I too would like to see Kinetix again.

I voted for her to be included in the poll up top but quite honestly her usefullness would be lame with Dawney, I'm certain, getting most of the attention from Levitz. It's really a shame too because I love the character of Shikari. I liked her right from the get-go.

Well, Dawny and Wildfire are being portrayed as star-crossed lovers. Could that mean they will meet the same fate as Romeo and Juliet?

Yes Shikati should definitely be a member. Especially if it meant that Dawnstar met some dreadfull accident and had to leave the team.

I voted no...I would rather actually see XS and Gates back with their home team in new adventures as well tbh; not that I dislike any of them, quite the opposite in fact. I just think it's a shame to break them up and it gives the impression that the Johnsboot Legion is the "real" Legion and the others are just copies...

I'd rather Shikari get a shot with another DCU team like Outsiders or Teen Titans than be redundant or lost in the shuffle in the LSH. This is provided DC fixes either franchise since they're currently so broken. I wouldn't want her to be cannon fodder. As a Titan, especially, she could easily fill the Starfire spot with her exotic beauty and alien-ness. (Actually, I'd rather the New Wanderers get their own series with her in it, but I know it wouldn't last 10 issues.)
Still "Lardy" to my friends!

As usual, I vote for no deaths. Death is a universal theme so it won't be disappearing from Legion comics. I tend to see characters more from a creators point of view, in which they are fun toys to play with.

I voted 'yes' to featured, but not as a member of the Legion starring in the current series.
I'd love it if she popped in for a guest-starring turn with one or two New Wanderers in tow (Lyle! Jazmin! etc.). I suppose there'd have to be some big threat the New Wanderers come across and have to warn the LSH about. Truthfully, I'd enjoy it they showed up just to keep lines of communication and bonding open- but I guess that doesn't sell copies of comics anymore. Would anyone else like to see a LSH/New Wanderers annual get together, inspired, perhaps, by the JLA/JSA get-togethers of old (and occaionally present- there's one going on now!).
Shikari would, out of necessity, be guaranteed to appear once a year, at least.

Nine times out of ten, it seems gratuitous and trite. There are better ways to remove unwanted or unliked characters.

Nah... Shikari was always just a cheap knockoff of the real thing. Never cared for her at all, especially when they should have just brought Dawny back.

They might have the same power, but their backgrounds and personalities are different. I find Shikari to be more interesting because I liked bugs as a child, and her gray skin tone is cool looking. I find Dawnstar to be a bit dated in terms of dress and attitude.

Dawnstar IS dated, I agree.
I prefer the 'Toy Story' boy who loved and honored his toys or the 'Velveteen Rabbit' or the 'Winnie the Pooh stories. Death is a hand that needs to be played very, very seldom and with great care, and no redoes. imo
Levitz never chose Gates and XS. And I hope that he returns them to their home team. I also want the New Wanderers to find a miss-placed Kinetix.
And while I'm happy that Johns resurrected Alchemist and I hope he's kept for a New Wanderers series, I'd like to have what was done to Zoe corrected.
I don't think that Mysa needs or can hold on to the magic of TWO universes.

I vote no. I wouldn't mind seeing her make an occasional guest appearance to give a status report on the Wanderers though. It's true that other characters have duplicate powers, but lightning and super strength/speed/vision, etc. are much more versatile than "path finding".
The only way I'd want her with this team is if she replaces Dawnstar, who I could do without. I find Shikari much more interesting, but again, we don't need both.
I wrote a story YEARS ago, in which it's revealed that Hunter Jr. and Dawnstar had been lovers back in the days when she "helped hunters trap helpless beasts." After a confrontation between the LSH and the Hunter, in which some Legion hothead demanded that she pick a side, she chose to leave with Hunter. I still think it would be a good story and would put an end to the never ending angst between her and Drake once and for all. It would also get rid of her without killing her.

That would be much better than killing or maiming her!
I'd vote no, although I really find Shikari more interesting than Dawnstar. There are already lots of characters who need more panel time in this Legion, and I hold out hope that we will see the Wanderers in action, with Shikari on that team.

I think DC's already disposed of enough of its characters of color at this point. Not that there were many to lose in the first place.
If they wanted to update Dawnstar's character, they could expand on her powers, or at least let her actually engage in combat using some kind of weaponry. Oh, and so long as I'm dreaming out loud, give her a costume that doesn't make her look like a damn Cosmo Girl Of Space.
While I'm at it, can I please also have half a million dollars and a summer home on the Riviera? Thanks.

I think Shikari got a raw deal with the whole post LO3W reset. Her origins and looks are far more interesting and futuristic/alien than Dawnstar's, whom I like by the way. I just wish that some better fate was given to Shikari other than just "wandering the cosmos".
Maybe some day Paul Levitz could do a special or graphic novel that addresses those lost Legionnaires from other realities, or at least incorporate them into a story in the current monthy Legion title.
