Ah, didn't realize there was a "stuff" thread. Been a little while since I poked around these parts. I think the last time I was around there was a full "stuff" forum. Thanks for pointing that one out.

I like the Umbra one-- though she does have a certain pop-eyed look of surprise that takes some getting used to.

The Wildfire piece was the only decent click. Taking a team of Legionnaires is suicide. Also their team ability is kinda stupid.

I think I just had a stroke! This will get me into playing HeroClix again in a way that the various single Legion clix didn't.

From the press release: The Legion of Super-Heroes is set in the 30th Century where a young Superman has been thrust forward in time and agrees to join a young team of adventurers in a universe that faces threats of unimaginable proportion! This set has got to be based on the cartoon.

We have Mordru, Validus, Emerald Empress, Persuader, Ra's Al Ghul, and Mano.... We need Tharok to complete the Fatal Five roster and hope to see Lightning Lord, Saturn Queen, and Cosmic King to be in clix soon! they deserve to be clixed! Hoorray!

(i.e Danger Room had Storm, Colossus, Jean Grey, Etc. from the movie but in their comics costumes with comic-centric stats.)

I'm not much of a Heroclix guy - I've even managed to resist the JSA ones - but more Legion love is always appreciated.

And I was just looking at the previews so far for the Origins set since the Legion press release mentioned Legionnaires would be available in it. Apparently the veteran version of Supergirl will have the Legion group affiliation to go along with the M'onel and Triplicate Girl in the set. Plus we get one villain, Mano.

And a Legionnaire bystander token. Presumably one of the kids from the plaza.

I think the TV show is a different license. They've never done the cartoon sculpts for any of the toons as far as I can tell.

A third figure has been announced. It's Saturn Girl. You can get a look at her stats through the dial link at the bottom...same thing with Phantom Girl. Their character cards can be seen here about midway down the page.

I really hope they correct the date on the Saturn Girl card before the release. Adventure Comics #247 was released in April of 1958, not 1957.

WizKids has three new cards and two new figures from the Legion starter set. It seems either they are freely mixing animated Legion and comic Legion continuity, or current DCU continuity(ala the JLA/JSA/LSH X-over) is changing to more reflect the animated version. I kind of suspect the latter. Timber Wolf Cosmic Boy Young Superman *EDIT* Didn't see Haggard Lad's post prior to posting mine. So, Lightning Lad and Ultra Boy are left. I was hoping for a Tharok to round out the Fatal Five.

I have no doubt Tharok will be in the Justice League set coming in August. I can understand that they wanted to keep this Starter Set as just Legion members.
Though I'm surprised they didn't stick more closely to the cartoon. I was really hoping for a Bouncing Boy figure. And while I love Ultra Boy, we already have Superman in this set. It would be nice to get more variety than another brusier.
