I could have watched that episide five times and still wanted more.
I'm getting to the point where I need a score card. May have to search the internet but I can't keep track of names with powers plus I miss little details when I lose attention.
Who was that guy that shot the nuclear guy, why did he do it, and why was he hanging around so casual like outside the house with the others waiting for Claire to come out? That WAS the scene justifying the "save the cheeleader...," right?

One of the best bits about the ep? HRG thinking in Japanese, so Parkman couldn't read his mind!!! Great episode!!

I think you are half right about save the cheerleader save the world. since she's on the run, she will stop Peter from going ka-bloom!

don't think that Saturn Girl have the problem, after all, she was able to translate the old English into Interlac when she was with Team 20.
Anyway, I am worried about my second fave - Saturn Cop - and hope that he will make it alive when he finds a way to escape from that "place".

Haven't watched last night's episode yet but caught a commercial tonight for next week's show where we supposedly finally meet Lindeman. Did he look like Donald Sutherland to anyone else?

Thanks wamu2. So he shoots nuclear guy to test healing girl's healing. Invisible guy drags duplicate boy off a building to test his. Whatever happened to multiple choice tests.
I thought lindeman looked like Leslie Nielsen.
Well, a jokester could hope...

Linderman is
<span class="spoiler_containter"><span class="spoiler_wording">Click Here For A Spoiler</span><span class="spoiler_text">Malcolm McDowell, who played the dude who killed Captain Kirk</span></span>
I was a little surprised that Saturn Cop ended up in custody. I wouldn't have thought he would have gone willingly.

Doesn't it remain to be seen how much of HRG's memory is going to be eliminated? Is there any way back once the Haitian's done his dirty work? And who is the higher authority the Haitian is working for?
A quick aside--I've had a hard time not thinking about HRG (btw, the synopsis on the satellite guide actually referred to him as HRG--too funny) and what he had done to protect his daughter. I think I might actually rather die in that situation than give up all knowledge of either of my children, who I might never know I ever had--or even worse, might do damage to in the future. Great episode!

A great episode. I loved Lil' Hiro.
I think the Haitian only took the memories of HRG helping them escape.
Did Peter ever met up with Ray?
I think the actual big wig is Mr. Muggles.

So far they haven't shown a way to restore the memories. When Claire was upset about Zack's mind being wiped, she urged the Haitian to give Zack back to her, and he said he can only take memories away, he can't bring them back. Have the determined whether the Haitian could even mindwipe Claire, or would she heal from that too? And Quis, I would think the Haitian would only purge the escape memories, but HRG said "Go deep", so that would make you think he loved her so much, he'd sacrifice any memories of her if if would guarantee she was free from "the company". It's the old adage "If you love someone, set them free..." I just had a thought. Since HRG works for a paper company, the Haitian functions like a human paper shredder! (I crack myself up!) We still don't know the main purpose of this company. They obviously trap, study, tag and release the powered folks. It is very much like those old Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom, where they would tag and release wildlife, so they could monitor their lives. And so far, we haven't seen Peter meet up with Ray yet, so he can't go nuclear yet! And Lil' Hiro was great, perfectly cast!

When he said to go deep, I assumed he meant to take Claire deep into hiding, so that his bosses wouldn't be able to find her.

My theory is that Matt will eventually be able to restore people's memories.
So, does Hiro's dad realize that he is "one of them"? If so, is he effectively harboring Hiro in much the same way HRG was harboring Claire?

cool 'cliffhanger' ending to episode 3 [ here in the UK !! ]
just to remind you lot [ if that was a while back for you in the US ] Claire is 'dead' and returns back to life only to find herself on a metal table, with her chest cut wide open !!
the mystery villain and his confrontation with SATURN COP was cool too !!
can't wait for me .....
Matthew.

Definitely one of the best, if not the best, episode of the series yet. The only thing that got me was <span class="spoiler_containter"><span class="spoiler_wording">Click Here For A Spoiler</span><span class="spoiler_text">exactly how much radiation was being tossed around inside the Bennet home and why isn't everyone taking a big old radiation shower ala Silkwood</span></span>?

i get the show now on sunday, a day before its aired on nbc. The show was killer, i wont discuss it now but i really enjoyed it, it wasnt stunning or anything but it always leaves you craving the next episode. Did anyone read on scifi.com about the next season having different central character?

Do we know if the Hatitian can select which memories to wipe? I would think so or else people (Like Mrs. HRG) would be wondering why it was Friday and not Wednesday. I don't think all memories of Claire got wiped. That would be too suspicious.

I'm not sure it's been blatantly stated, but I think all the evidence points to the Haitian being able to do pretty precise "surgery" as far as what gets removed.
That said, I certainly don't think he removed all memories of Claire, but just those that might provide some clue as to where she's gone.
