Anyone a fan of the show Charmed? I totally love this show!

I've only seen a couple of episodes, but I've got to say... Alyssa Milano sure has grown up since her days as a bratty preteen on Who's the Boss...!

I miss Cole, hubba hubba. I missed what ended up happening to him, is he really gone or is it yet again one of those open-ended scenarios.

I thought for sure they'd killed off Leo last season. And where does Chris fit into all this (is he Emmet all grown up?)

I've missed all of this season episodes.

Who is Emmett and Chris? Heck, we haven't watched the show in ages. Last we saw Cole was alive and trying to woo Phoebe (it was Phoebe right?) back and Leo and Piper had just found out they were expecting.

Wonder if this series will ever get the DVD treatment.

I think Bubble Wrap Boy meant Wyatt instead of Emmet (or maybe he was crossing over Charmed and Queer as Folk)

Wyatt is Piper & Leo's son.

Chris is a White Lighter from the future. CHris says that he has come to protect Wyatt from some unknown demon. He is the Charmed Ones' new White Lighter as Leo has been made an Elder. Chris does seem to have his own agenda as in last season's finale, while Leo is orbing away, Chris seemingly blasts him into nothingness.

another TV show, i would like to watch .... but always seem to miss !!! [ it's up to season 5, now !! isn't it ?? ]

I never caught one from beginning to end until last season's extended finale, where it was advertised that the gorgeous three turned into Greek goddesses, at least temporarily. Well, I'm a sucker for flowing over-the-shoulder gowns -- I saw "Sinbad," directed by my friend Tim Johnson, on DVD last night -- so I tuned in.

It was *ahem* visually satisfying, funny, and well-presented, but I felt adrift at missing large chunks of needed back-story. Series television (like most comics) isn't built any more to allow newcomers to tune in and follow what's happening, apart from some sit-coms. So I haven't been back since then.

I used to love Charmed, but for me the show went downhill after Pru died. Not that I'm a HUGE Shannon Doherty fan, but Rose McGowan's character just isn't cutting it for me.

Besides which, the commercials are irritating me. Every episode is now an "event". "Gorgeous Goddesses" and "Valkyrie Vixens"... I dunno. The episodes aren't any better than the old, non-event episodes.

I've only watched a few episodes this season. Chris is a hottie, but he alone hasn't been enough of a draw to get my attention on a weekly basis.

I have watched this show from the beginning and I like it a LOT LOT.
Chris gets on my nerves but at least now we know that he really is a good guy.

BubbleWrap Boy, Cole is really supposedly gone this time but I totally agree with you -MAJOR HUBBA HUBBA. I really need to watch NIP TUCK on the FX channel more.
Cole changed the past to cause Paige's death which prevented her from joining after Pru died and repairing the power of 3. She sneezed (which caused her to orb) when he cast the spell, so even though her past self died, she still existed. Cole lost a lot of his mega power because his past changeed also. Paige had to convince the bad-ass Piper and Phoebe (now Cole's mean wife) that she was their sister and then they vanquished Cole.

I love this show and yes the DVD seasons are supposed to start this summer!

Nah, Chris is also half whitelighter and half witch (I'm thinking Paige's son), but he's not Wyatt. Apparantly the Charmed ones die and Wyatt starts abusing his power in the future because he doesn't feel the need to distinguish between good and evil. From the small bit we saw, it looks like Wyatt takes his whole King Arthur/Chosen Leader role a bit too far.

By the way, I just checked the voting and I am in 3rd place, just 1 vote behind you and Icefire.

Thanks for the 411 Ger but how can Chris be Paige's son (I'm assuming you're speculating) she's already half-white lighter half-witch... unless she marries another "halfy" but if I recall we've been led to believe she's a rarity since white lighters were forbidden to mate with witches in the past which is why Leo and Piper finally getting together was a big deal.

Where he fits in all this is a good puzzle.

Am I to take it that Phoeboe's and Cole's GREAT love is no longer or that it never was? (Last time I tuned in he was calling her "from the grave") Sorry... because I've caught most of the shows in reruns my timeline is all out of whack, I can differentiate between the Pru episodes and the Paige episodes, and within the Paige episodes, brunette Paige and redhead Paige. LOL

You're right, I was just speculating about Chris. I was thinking if Paige messed around with her Cute witchy boyfriend then they could be Chris' parents.

I can sympathize with the confusion. I actually stopped watching it for a short while because the whole "Phoebe and Cole can never be happy" situation was grating on my nerves. They were so up-and-down in their relationship that it became a little too soap-opera-y for me. And I missed the pivotal episode in which Pru died. I'm not a huge Paige fan -I actually preferred Pru.

But Piper, Holly Marie Combs, has always been my favorite of the sisters. I think she is incredible.

Being laidoff this summer gave me an opportunity to watch them all in reruns. And from what I gathered, I don't think there was a pivotal episode where Pru died, I watched earnestly for it and for Paige's first appearance, and unless I missed it, it seems that Pru died off camera, and when they returned Paige was suddenly popped into the picture and showed up at Pru's funeral.

You're right. I just missed the season finale that was Pru's last episode.

I also enjoy Charmed. I hope Chris leaves soon cause I'm sick of him. Add me to the list of with Piper as there favorite sister.

Piper is my fave too but I like all o them and Cole just made me wanna go mate with a demon!!!!

I kind of like Paige now that they have settled her character and made her the red-head.

Of all their powers, I do like Paige's the best too.

Oh, Icey... I know EXACTLY where you are coming from. Do you watch FX? He had a nice episode where he was walking around in some black low-rise briefs.

Anyone see the new one with the homage to I Dream of Jennie? It was an ok one. Some parts were a bit disturbing though.
