Anyone else watching the current season? LeAnn Rime's is doing a pretty good job hosting and there's some talented singers competing too.

I can't have been the only person here who was watching it. They even showed a marathon of it yesterday. There are even some recaps and other info here:

Watch the finale on Tuesday people! I know I will. I'm hoping Erika Jo or Jason win but Jody's cool too.

We caught the tail end of yesterday's episode at Midnight. That's when they show it here, Midnight Saturday/Sunday morning. And we didn't get a marathon either, only the new episode. Looked like some good talent singing. Caroline liked Erika Jo.

They repeat the new eps a few times including late Sat/early Sun that week.

So do they allow voting even during the repeats? There was no disclaimer during the show or on screen that said voting was already closed.

For some reason they forgot to put a disclaimer on the screen saying the voting was closed every time they repeated an old ep. They may have never edited some of the tapes since after the live airings it repeats in an hour and the whole time till it ends again voting is open. I always voted online, and the polls gone now. I have no idea if the phone numbers work.

I would SO watch this but Tuesdays American Idol has top priority (why in the WORLD do they air it on Tuesdays??!?!?!) and the Saturday reruns aren't convienient for me because 95% of the time I'm not home.

I caught some of the first season-- I really really liked that the contestants did their own songs. When I heard whatsisface do "Lacy's Song" the first time, I KNEW he had it in the bag.

I am not a regular watcher of this show. This season I was persuaded by my best friend to watch and vote for his cousin on the show. He showed me her CD and told me her background said she's been doing it pretty much her whole life. I told him I would check it out and see what it was like. Mainly Im not a fan of any of these types of shows to begin with. His cousin is Erica Jo.

So I checked it out here and there on USA when it usually came on at 10. Watched a couple of episodes thought the one woman(can't remember her name, she was the mother) was really good. I thought most of the male performers was pretty crappy. Especially the guy with the Cowboy hat, I think he's horrible. He irks me along with the goatee pretty boy. I kinda do like the Buddy Holly kid.

So I was pretty surprised that it was those 4 that are left, recently because I haven't been watching it. I hope Erica Jo gets it because I think she has the best stage performance, and I think she's actually the better singer out of the 4 remaining.

I'm glad she did. I thought she performed the best over the season of what little I saw of it.

Heh hehehe, I even got wrong how many was left in my last post. Shows you how little I paid attention to it.

I'm glad she won since I had been voting for her. I think that was a good season finale and I can't wait to follow Erica Jo's solo career.
