Lee and I went to see it tonight. Don't let any preconceptions about the trailers dissuade you from seeing this one; it is a true Pixar gem, and will leave you very much moved.
I can't remember the last time I saw an animated feature with such a strong message. (Maybe The Incredibles.) And the character models are as cute as cute can be. All told, another HUGE win for Pixar, and everyone who is either a Sci-Fi or animation fan will love it. I actually think it's the best sci-fi flick I've seen since Sunshine, too.
White. A blank page or canvas. His favorite. So... many... possibilities.

I saw it yesterday. It won out over Get Smart & Wanted.
It was an enjoyable film. I think it will be a bit ironic when it goes on sale in Wal-Mart.
I actually liked the short cartoon before the movie a little bit more.
Big Dog! Big Dog! Bow Wow Wow!

I saw this with my family Sunday.
Wow.
I just can't believe how talented the folks at Pixar are. They just continue to raise the bar.
Last year they made a movie starring a rat and which was centered around a bistro and had very little action. And it was completely charming!
This year they put out what a sci fi-framed love story which is really sparse on dialogue and very artsy. For a genre aimed at kids, this movie contained very little in the way of cheap laughs and, again, not a lot of action.
But it was very moving and entertained both kids and adults like crazy. This movie deserves a Best Picture nomination at Oscar time, not just a Best Animated feature nom (which its a shoo-in to win).
Pixar films are continually must-sees!
Still "Lardy" to my friends!

We went to see it yesterday and I absolutely loved it. It's one of th best love stories I have seen for a very long time and it's just a treat from start to finish. It's visually stunning but the story and the characters are utterly beatiful too. Wall-E and EVE are both perfect but I also think that MO managed to steal every seen he was in too. His little squeaks of indignation at Wall-E leaving tracks are just perfect, and his delight when he finally does clean him made me want to cheer. Plus it's probably the first film that I've seen where it's worth sitting through the credits, not because there's a coda or anything (apart from the BnL logo after the Pixar and Disney ones) but because of the story during the credits which looks lovely (and was designed by Scott Morse apparently).
Truth and Justice shall Prevail! (Unless Tamper Lad Screws it up...)
