Hi All... My band and I are still trying to come up with a band name. We've culled a list of about 70 to 30, and then to 2. Which d'ya think is better? RESONATOR or FACTOR ZERO Confused, Clueless & Beyond Thought... Wayne@OZ

Hey Wayne didn't you used to have a web site for the band? I thought you had some sound bites available at one time.
But my vote is for Factor Zero. Resonator sounds too much like a Kiss cover band.

We used to be Spoonbender, but after a change in lineup (a new drummer and an extra guitarist) we decided it best to start afresh. The SB website is still up at: spoonbender.homestead.com but there's only one download available - a kinda country, kinda punk song called Hook. In general, we're rock, with flavours of blues, soul, and folk depending on the song. Once I set up a Yahoo!Group for the new band, I'll put some .mp3s up for anyone that's interested in a listen. PS Early indications from the band are that we'll probably be... Resonator. To quote our lead guitarist: "Factor Zero seems to take itself too seriously, and smacks of oh-we’re-too-cool-sci-fi-teenager-bedroom-poster-battle-of-the-bands-masturbation." Wow. I think he really put some thought into the choice.

I kinda like "Hyphenator" myself.  But, yeah, I can see the guy's point about Factor Zero. Sounds like something from the more serious side of New Wave/Darkwave music, and that doesn't sound like what you play at all.

Hmmmm... Considering that I'm the only one in the band unburdened (heh) with a significant other, I really wonder whether calling ourselves the Infectious Lads or the Nelly Caps is gonna do me any favours... PS Getting the yahoogroup set up - anyone who's interested might be able to actually hear some of our crap soon.
