Wow! This looks super-cool! Where the hell is it though?!? How many miles from say, Newark airport? (I've been there! I got a taxi into Manhattan but the driver wanted to throw me out in the middle of nowhere so he didn't have to "take the tunnel". I had a narrow escape!)

I have to admit to perverting their song from love shack to "Love Crack". Yes, it uses both the illegal narcotic form of crack, and the much more enjoyable form of the female buttock cleavage, lol. But, i am sure so many others have done this to that song as well. As for the motel, it looked fun.

Comet King, it's about 2 to 2.5 hours' drive north of Newark, a bit over 100 miles. Kate's place has appeared on HGTV as well (no, i don't watch it, i saw it by chance), a while back.
friends of mine tagged along on the B-52s tour Down Under over the winter, and say the band is still as great as ever... i never saw 'em myself, but Kate sometimes does solo gigs in our area.
