Dick Martin, part of the creative duo behind Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In, passed away last night due to respiratory complications. He was 86. I loved watching Laugh-In growing up. I don't know if it was the absurdity or the girls, like Goldie Hawn, in the skimpy swimsuits but I always found it entertaining. How many shows can claim they had a presidential nominee on to say their catch phrase and, possibly, help him win the election? Sock it to me? CNN obit R.I.P.

The only character in all of literature who has been described as "badnass" while using the phrase "vile miscreant."
