Episode 1 of the new season of Nip/Tuck just aired in Canada Sunday night. At least, I think it's the first ep. Does anyone know if the episode with Larry Hagman, Kathleen Turner and Brooke Shields is indeed the start of the new season?

It was a wacky show as usual: mother-daughter threesome with Christian, Larry Hagman's balls and Kathleen Turner as a phone sex operator. And then there's the predictable storyline that Christian might possibly be in love with his best friend and business partner. There should be a drinking game with a shot taken everytime there's a shot of Christian's naked butt.

I laughed out loud when Christian, accused of being too metrosexual in his interior design tastes, asks a decorator to "butch it up". In comes Sean to cry on Christian's shoulder about the forthcoming handicapped child he is about to have with Julia and he asks why there's a giant cock in the middle of his room, referring to the "abstract" piece of art Christian allowed in his home.

The only person unaccounted for was Sean/Christian's former neoNazi transgender loving son, Matt. Is he still in the show?

Oh what fun.

Sounds like the first ep to me, OL. And yes, there's plenty of Matt this season as well. That season concluded over here back in December. Hold on for a long, strange trip!
