Hunter Gathers), knowing that Brock would kill them, and eliminate would-be competition.</span></span>

I didn't start watching this until the beginning of season three, but I've since caught up on all the old episodes, and seen most of them multiple times. Can't wait for the start of the season!

I have the first 3 seasons on DVD... I'm going to have to rebuy season 2 though because one of the discs was unfortunately destroyed during my last V.Bros marathon!

I've only seen the first season of this show but based on that alone count me in as another big Venture Bros. fan. The Monarch is one of my favourite animated characters ever!

Now I just need to catch up on my seasons 2 & 3 watching in order to keep up with this thread.

So, probably not a good jumping-on point for new viewers. It took a few minutes to figure out what in the hell was going on here but I thought it was a good episode. Lots of stuff going on.

Nice to see the boys actually starting to age a bit now that they're not dying and being reborn as clones every couple of weeks. Hank's growing his hair out, Dean's starting to grow a peach-fuzz 'stache. I'm digging Sgt. Hatred as the new bodyguard, Brock's new job and super creepy Walking Eye H.E.L.P.E.R. "Hey Hank! Killed Hitler!"

New episode "Handsome Ransom" on Sunday.

Seeing that episode I've lost any and all ability to like Dean, and now I don't dislike Hank or Number 21 as much as I used to. Did Dean always throw as much hissy fits before?

Now that they're allowing the boys to age a bit I think they're going to grow as characters. Hank's becoming tougher, trying to model himself after Brock. Dean's taking after Rusty more, getting more and more hysterical as time goes on. They've got to be going somewhere with it. There's an episode coming up called "Perchance To Dean", which I'm assuming will feature Dean, so we'll see if they address it at all then.

2nd ep definitely easier to follow, though I felt the greatest sense of relief when I FINALLY figured out the running tally in ep 1 at the top of the screen was the worth of the Ventures' MARVEL COMICS # 1.

It didn't click with me until Hank opened the comic and the numbers started to plummet. Once you figure that out it makes it so much easier to put the pieces together and make sense of the episode.

Looks like this week's episode is going to be

Also, I thought of something. If the main theme of the show is failure, what if the writers did an episode where someone permanently succeeded in some regard, thereby the writers would have failed to stay with the recurring theme of failure in the show.
