Seems they're reviving a few of the old franchises this year. Never played any KQ but have fond memories of it's sister titles, Space QUest, Police Quest and especially Leisure Suit Larry.

The last games on that list, taught me worst practices for dealing with women and made me a fan/spreader of sophomoric sexual innuendo for life.

I always liked Space Quest a little more than King's Quest, but they were both pretty awesome series, and the fact that fans would be dedicated enough to put the energy into developing their own sequels, long after the company has abandoned the line, is definitely a testament to just how good the originals were.

The King's Quest games were OK. I preferred Space Quest because of the humor, but my favorite was the Hero's Quest series, at least until they came up with the interface that removed the spontaniety and reasoning from any conversations you would have with NPCs.
