So first up, my origin story:
About five years back, I was cleaning out the stairwell that runs from my back-yard to my cellar, when the prop which holds open the bilco door gave way. I involuntarily put up my arm to block it from konking me on the head but, in doing so, a sharp metal edge caught my hand and sliced it really badly.
I went to the emergency room and wound up taking a bunch of stitches, and they told me I'd probably done permanent nerve damage to the hand and I might not be able to move it any more.
Well, thankfully, that turned out not to be the case. It took about a year, but little by little with physical therapy, I regained full use of my hand, and the only outward sign of permanent damage was a wicked scar.
Until yesterday.
The Discovery:
Yesterday afternoon, my wife and I went down to the Franklin Institute museum in Philly. They had a Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit that we wanted to see but, afterward, we checked out the permanent exhibits, a lot of which are interactive type things for kids.
Well, one of the interactive things focused around electricity. It was a metal, hand-shaped platform that when you place your hand on it would connect a circuit and give you a shock. I tried it and... nothing. I told my wife it was broken, but she put her hand on it and jumped back. "Jerk!" "What do you mean, honey?" "What... you don't feel that?" I tried again... nope, nothing. "Try your other hand." I did, and, sure enough, got a pretty powerful shock.
There were another couple exhibits with similar type functions... touch Ben Franklin's key to demonstrate static, that type thing. All of them... no reaction whatsoever in my right hand.
I am completely insulated against sensing electricity (just in my right hand, though). I totally have a superpower!
I just need a cool name, though... "The Right Hand of Insulation?" "The Circuit Breaker?" "Shock-Proof Pete?"
Help me out, Legion World (and post your own real life powers, if you've got 'em - we can totally form a team).

Beauty's where you find it. Not just where you bump and grind it.

My own superpower is that after months of training, I am able to bend my first finger joint (the one closest to the finger tip) while keeping the next one straight.

Hmm, I'll ask Blaze to compare. Somehow I don't think my jaw muscles are that capable, though.

I am...The Heater! Heard of "coolers" in vegas? People with such crap luck that the are hired to get near big winners and "cool" them off into loosing. Well, I'm a "heater". I randomly decide I need to go somewhere, like the bank or the parts store. Parking lot or atm line empty? Just wait til I'm about to pull in. Suddenly, at least four or five cars turn into the exact same place.
Every single time.

I'm also a Heater, my body temperature rises really fast. A brisk walk in spring weather OR under direct sunlight is enough to get me sweating...

What I am not, apparently, is a speller.

"Dammit! I'm a typer, not a speller!"
"...not having to believe in a thing to be interested in it and not having to explain a thing to appreciate the wonder of it."
