Farrell's Full Monty Cover-Up

Colin Farrell's rep as a ladies' man just got a big boost.

A full-frontal scene in the actor's upcoming movie, A Home at the End of the World, has been cut because audiences were purportedly distracted by Farrell's supposedly massive member.

Members of both sexes cheered at the unrobed Irishman during a test audience screening of the flick recently, disrupting what was supposed to be a poignant scene, according to the New York Post. (In a slightly differing account, the New York Daily News reported that the audience "gasped.")

On the flip side, several online reports suggest that Farrell was "fluffed" before his big scene.

Scheduled for a July 23 release, the R-rated flick is about a bisexual love triangle set in New York among two former childhood friends (played by Farrell and Dallas Roberts) and the free-spirited roommate of one of the men (played by Robin Wright Penn). Sissy Spacek also stars.

Shame on those who are only interested in Farrell's lucky charms, said producer John Hart.

"If that's their reason for coming, I have no interest in them seeing the movie," said the producer. "That crowd is not going to get it--this is a movie dealing with very sensitive issues, and it's a very moving film."

Looks like the insensitive masses won't get their fill of Farrell until the DVD--rumored to be uncut--is released.

That producer is full of it. He is frothing at the mouth hoping the "story" of the controversy will drive people in to see the movie. That i can practically guarantee. Just like DC loves it when the Hal/Kyle or the Ron/Jason furor kicks up and gets people talking, but more importantly, buying.

However, being a straight guy, i have my own penis to play with and don't need to worry about that tough guy wannabee's.

Yes, these people are all full of it... how often does full frontal nudity get adervtised prior to a film's release? It doesn't, unless they want to tease people into the theatres with it... it's all a cheap PR stunt... probably won't be on the dvd either... dammit.

I don't even want to think about full frontal nudity and a movie called "Short Cuts" at the same time...!

All my favorite Linda Hunt movies have full frontal nudity.
