Just read on rec.arts.sf.written that Robert asprin, author of the MythAdventures-- and a book called The Bug Wars that I really enjoyed-- has passed away ...
frown

No official confirmation anywhere else that I've been able to find so maybe it's not true ... *is hopeful*

According to his homepage it is true. frown

This really tears me up. Skeeve, Aahz and the rest of the gang were some of the greatest characters in fantasy. And I loved the books he and Phil Foglio did together. To this day I still say "That's Pervect" when someone calls me a pervert.

R.I.P.

Oh holy sonofadog. DAMMIT! What the hell happened?

First Terry Pratchett gets early onset, now this...

This friggin bites!

Thanks to legal problems, he could have given much more great work than he already has. Loved his Myth books and the first two Phule books. Jody Lyn Nye (sp?) is nice, but the books havent' been as good because it was a different voice telling them.

Now he has passed? Please tell me its not true.

Damn you, you kids! Get off my lawn or I'm callin' tha cops!

Something pithy!

I also enjoyed the Myth books and his Phule books.

RIP Mr. Asprin.

wow. I was a big Myth fan back in the day.

I propose a toast in his memory.
