Not "latest," exactly. But a few months ago, I was on another board where most of the contributors are MUCH younger than me. There was a song challenge-game-thing, and I felt goofy only contributing stuff that's already twenty years old. Looking around for recent locally-grown music, I found this excellent Warm Springs Native hiphop group: The Blue Flamez:

Speaking of mashups: I've plugged the DJ Disco Cat channel on YouTube before. One song he introduced me to which I didn't know before: Eruption's "One Way Ticket (To The Blues)" (1979).
All I want for my 55th birthday is for somebody to mash this up with Fastball's "The Way." They are absolutely meant to be together. Listen for just a minute or so and you'll see what I mean.
CLANG_Potroast brought this song to my attention. I enjoyed it a lot. The lyrics are very funny, and easy for me to relate to, having been a naysayer to the pop culture being sold to my generation during the early 90s. I anticipate listening to it many more times.
