There's a severe lack of Legion characters who are basically cheesy horror movie monsters performing Olympic sports. Except for everyone's favorite super-gymanastic Wolf Boy Brin Londo, that is! No wonder he has so many issues fitting in with the group!
Waid and Kitson should re-imagine Blok as a discus-throwing Frankenstein's Monster pronto!

Re-imagine Koko as a Giant Gorilla Monster, instead of a tiny stupid monkey monster. King Koko. He can fall in love with Dream Girl, or something like that.

Tellus could be given a nasty, alien monster personality and handle all the aquatic challenges.

"Ultimate" Night Girl as a super-powered fun-loving zombie chick in darkness or deep shadow, but a lifeless corpse in bright lights!

"ATTACK OF THE SILVER SLASHER"
Technology runs amok when Brainiac 5's obsessive love for Supergirl causes him to unconsciously create another robotic Maid of Might. A jealous Computo installs its own whacked-out programming; doom walks the streets of Metropolis as Franken-Kara tosses children into rivers, crashes through buildings and outruns the 'SUPERTRAM' overhead rapid transit system!
While across town, Salu Digby secretly tries out for the Metropolis Roller Derby team. When the evil REVERSO crashes the tryouts, SHRINKING VIOLET goes into action, little knowing she'd end up the '50 FOOT TALL DERBY DOLL REJECT'!

Now that I think about, a figure-skating Frakenstein's monster is much cooler. Maybe Kid Dracula could be the discus thrower?

Or Mini-Mummy. There'd be the added benefit of not having to go get the discs once they've been thrown. He'd just have to reel them in with one of his bandages attached to the discus.
*Everyone* loves a helpful super-athletic monster.

I suspect that "Super-Athletic Horror Movie Monsters" just may be the greatest thread title in the history of internet message boards.

I suppose Lyle could start wrapping himself in bandages and mutter about how he's going to take over the world. Inbetween track and field events.

I'm campaigning to have "Monsters" become the October theme in the Museum of Legion Arts over in Bits.
Brin as a werewolf is a good idea for that.
