She has a good sense of humor (i.e. laughs at my jokes) and as a northern, WBcartoon fan she has inspired me to bring out my limited knowledge of Foghorn Leghorn quotes. I have done some google searches, so I have more material. I just thought this would make a good topic for discussion, so I am starting a topic. And if we want quotes; I will start: "That dog's as subtle as a hand grenade in a barrrel of oat meal."

Foghorn, the bellicose expression of how yankee's think southerners really sound. And he was still funny. I used to love those old cartoons simply because they were wonderfully, inventively, graphically violent. Made in a time where we didn't have doctor spock, and later the "keep kids safe from everything, including themselves, cause', gosh, they should become adults with no experience in making adult decisions at all" time, they were gloriously, riotusly beautiful. I miss cartoons like that. Friggin eighties and manga. Friggin' censors and their "kids need a group or adults to make decisions..." Crap. Sorry. I'll step off mah soapbox now. Foghorn is cool. Damn you, you kids! Get off my lawn or I'm callin' tha cops! Something pithy!
