As he prefers to be called.
Since his regular form is giant, does that mean if he gets knocked out, will he revert to his normal size?
That could be troublesome.

Oooh, good one. That said, other versions of Vi (as a similar example) didn't revert to a different form when knocked out. I'm not sure whether she was naturally large or small (though I think Imskians had the power to shrink, implying that they're normally of average human stature), but she never changed size when knocked out. Similarly, preboot Colossal Boy remained giant when knocked out at that size.

It'd be funny if on his homeworld, Gim was considered short (maybe even a dwarf?).

Somewhere on his homeworld, there's a butch woman whose power is to "grow," and she thinks of Gim as a pansy.

Is Gim's room at Legion HQ built to his natural scale? That'd take up half the HQ right there...

Insert obligatory 'Size Queen' joke here...

It occurs to me that this Gim has more definite limits on his power than any of the previous versions. Preboot Colossal Boy occasionally grew thousands of feet tall, and though I don't recall the postboot Leviathans doing anything like that, one could at least imagine them getting a "power boost" to grow larger than normal.
But the new Gim only grows by unshrinking to his natural size, so it wouldn't make any sense if he was ever able to get bigger than that. (Barring some complex plot contrivance, of course.) I find that kind of interesting...most superheroes have stories where they "surpass their limits," but that'll be hard for Gim. In fact, if he did get a power enhancement, it'd just make him even smaller! He'd be a 2nd-rate Violet.
Hey, I wonder if Gim's gonna turn out to have an Imskian ancestor? I'm not really sure how the procreation would have worked, but I bet someone in Japan would love to draw it! Or maybe the Giantworlders intentionally duplicated the Imskian power so they could have an ambassador to the little people.
And something else I've wondered, postboot and preboot...Gim's not particularly invulnerable, right? He's just got skin several inches thick when he's in giant mode. So how come he doesn't die instantly when he's fighting groups of enemies? They usually have futuristic weapons that could easily poke a hole in him (hell, a .45 could do that), and at sixty feet tall or whatever he's an easy target. So why doesn't he get swarmed to death like King Kong in every issue?

Gim is my favorite Legionnaire. It was great to not only see him back but be the first Legionnaire given some background in this new series. The Giant Who Shrinks was an interesting twist.
However, Gim was prominent in the Zero Hour reboot in being a leader in the group at the start. We all know his fate there.
As the Legionnaire who has been killed off the most in Legion stories, I can't help have the feeling that this 'new' Colossal Boy/Micro Lad is being set up again for a giant fall. Why he has gone from a respectable foot soldier in the Legion to fodder in the eyes of writers I don't understand.
