Hit and miss for me. I've recently discovered a new brand called Chobani Greek Yogurt that is pretty good. I get it at Safeway.

That reminds me of one of best desserts I ever had. No yogurt involved, though. It was at a restaurant called the Mud Room in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. It was chocolate mousse heavily spiked with Jack Daniels whiskey. Heaven.

Nancy\'s makes my favorite lowfat yogurt. Excellent with a drizzle of maple syrup mixed in. Nonfat yogurt really is only suitable for cooking with, though. You've gotta' have a little butterfat in yogurt or the texture of it just ain't right. I've also tried some of the yogurt stand-ins, like the ones made from coconut milk. Pretty good, especially with fresh fruit.

I'm not a huge fan of normal yogurt but I found a great Frogurt place on Friday. It had multiple varieties and a grand topping bar. It was sinfully delicious!

Love yogurt, but I can't afford the calories or the sugar, so I skip it. If I'm gonna have that much calories and sugar, I'm gonna blow past yogurt and go straight for the Ben & Jerries.

I yogurt! There are some decent nonfat, low-cal varieties. I enjoy plain yogurt as well. Once in a while, if I'm really splurging on Indian food, I'll have a salt lassi, a very refreshing yogurt-based beverage.

That's why the big tub of plain yogurt is your friend. You get to control how much flavoring goes into each serving. My breakfast was a bowl of sliced peaches with a teaspoon of sugar and several big spoonfuls of plain yogurt on top. Ah, Summer, I'm gonna' miss you when you go...

I believe Greek and Balkan yogurt are pretty much the same thing, btw.
I had quesadillas for dinner tonight and I was wondering, would yogurt be a good substitute for sour cream in this case? I've substituted it in recipes before, but never like this. (I don't have any in the house right now or I would have tried it anyway.)

I substitute yogurt for sour cream all the time.
If you want it to be thicker for this purpose, you can buy a yogurt strainer and drain the water out of your yogurt overnight. Then discard the water and use the thickened yogurt just like you would sour cream.
Plain old cheesecloth (a couple of layers) over a bowl will also work for straining yogurt.

I've heard a coffee filter works, too. The stuff I get is pretty thick, though.

I eat yogurt everyday! I love it!
Greek yogurt is my favorite, but honestly, I eat any kind! I like the greek kind with the little fruit on the side--cherry is the best.
Key Lime Pie yogurt is so good, it's better than 97.5% of all desserts!
