The 3-year old had a birthday party on Saturday out on the southwest side, so an earlier-than-usual trip to the comic book store seemed in order. As always, I have to explain why it is worth his while. "They'll have the new Justice League Unlimited comic," I say. "I want that," says the 3-year old. "You'll get that for me, Daddy," he says, not able to disguise the imperious tone in his voice. We walk into the CBS. There's JLU #20 prominently displayed. First words out of the 3-year old's mouth: "It's the Legion of Girls!" That's my boy! Of course, then it was a race to finish my browsing under a constant barrage of "I want the Legion of Girls, Daddy."
...but you don't have a moment where you're sitting there staring at a table full of twenty-five characters with little name signs that say, "Hi, my superpower is confusing you!"

Up to this point I have not purchased JLU. But now I must. For I too want the Legion of Girls.
I'll get it myself, but I just might tell the CBS clerk that "I want the Legion of Girls, Daddy."

It's a very cute issue. Quite a few of them have been quite good. I loved the Stargirl issue from last year. This topic is funny because back when i was 15 or 16 I mostly quit reading comics to chase after.... A Legion of Girls

I buy that comic every month. My daughter loves the tv series. I still have to hand the "Legion of Girls" issue over to her, though. When I saw it, I knew she'd be pleased by it. Though, she loves Batman the most, I think.

They'd better not! How can I explain cancellation to a 3 year old?
