Apparently Denver isn't getting it this week. It's a new movie by Guermo del Torro (sp.) Anyone else interested?
Just spouting off.

I don't know very much about it, but I did hear that it is geared more for adults then children. I heard it is pretty 'dark.' It looks really interesting to me, and it's making me remember the young Tom Cruise in the unicorn movie. Scott and I will probably catch it when it comes to Brewvies.

So far, my favorite movie of 2006 is Pan's Labyrinth. (Haven't seen Children of Men yet, I hear that is excellent as well.)
No specific spoilers, but I would say it is a little bleak, definitely more for adults, but also fantastic and magical. Beautiful.
Why are you laughing at me? It's unkind, as well as puzzling!

I've heard nothing but good about it so far.
Hope I'll be able to catch it in theaters.

I just saw it- and a great movie! I recommend it to everyone. It's certainly a dark film, engaging and intense. It's going to be tough to top this one (I'm looking at you Spiderman 3)
Visually, it's creative and stunning. The story grabs you. Del Torro doesn't make you feel for the protagonist- he makes you feel with her. The villain is admittedly one dimensional, but that's because most of the story revolves around the heroine and her adventures.
See this movie.
Just spouting off.
