Based on solicitations, we know that the new leader is apparently female!
So, who do you think it will be?
And who do you think it *should* be?

Wouldn't it be great if Dream Girl became the surprise leader??? Back from the dead and leading the group already. I love it! Maybe she's been covertly leading the group for months now, on some metaphysical plane of existance (or something like that). That's my vote anyway! LLL

I am hoping for Phantom Girl. I really hope it isn't Saturn Girl or Supergirl.

I think it's Theena. Her recent inclusion in opening silhouette group shot, gave it away. She's probably the most recognizable *member* outside the core group.

Personally I feel it will be Projecta, she has the training as a "royal" to lead. Not saying she will lead well but has a comfort for the job

Will be? Theena I think. With the appearance of the multiverse, I think pulling the WaK threeboot even further away from the 'traditional' Legion would be welcome. This, of course, assumes that she's not a Dominator-plant...
Should be? Shadow Lass or Light Lass. They are the two femmes on the team who haven't been portrayed as an appendage of one faction or another (a big problem with Vi, Imra and Trip, all firmly factionalized), thinks for themselves and isn't regarded as 'a follower.'
Shadow Lass just gets my nod because she's more willing to actually *do something* for a team-mate (as she does by calling in Val to help Jo learn control), while other Legionnaires, like Trip or Cham, will just sit back and gossip about them.
Supergirl, Dream Girl, Phantom Girl and Projectra have been portrayed as too flighty and distracted / self-absorbed to make effective leaders, IMO. (Plus, Supergirl's *nuts,* Dream Girl is dead, Phantom Girl is 'not all there' and Projectra's a ticking time-bomb...)

I suspect it's going to be either Shadow Lass or Theena, and I can see advantages to having both of them in the role.
Theena would be neat because she's not a superhero, which would be a refreshing change, but she does have abilities that would be useful to a Legion leader. And she's a likeable character.
Shadow Lass would be neat because I think she'd be a terrible leader, which could make for some good stories. I think Shady has qualities which would make her an excellent field leader, but she's not enough of a diplomat and not enough of a big-picture-type to be the overall leader, and I'm not sure that she can learn those things.

Hasnt anyone actually seen the votes?
Garth is in the lead, and Tinya is second in the lead.
But i agree with Matthew, Shady wouldnt be good enough.
