I must say at first I wasn't too excited about that movie, but something in those pics makes me more interested:
-The thing doesn't look that bad - he is like in the early FF issues!
-Jessica Alba do not look like a Hooker with blond hair.
-I like the body of the Human torch!

Thoughts:

Thing looks great. Hands look a bit like big gaumey gloves, but I expect some additional CGI will be added in teh final editing process. I definitly think that a costume with added CGI is the way to go. I was not real satisfied with the all CGI Hulk.

Mr. Fantastic appears as though he will have graying temples. That's a good thing IMHO

Invisible WOman still looks too ethnic to me. That in and of itself is no bigs. SHe just does not look particularly related to the actor playing the Torch is all.

The Human Torch looks much more like Johnny in these pics that in the advance publisity pics. That's good. Rumor is though that he will just shoot flames from his hands and not totally "flame on." That's bad.

I got it downloaded this morning without any problems. Either he had to take it down or has exceeded his bandwidth. It is a .mov file about 5.5 Meg in size. Not really much to see, just a typical ET report. If you have a mailbox that can handle it, I can e-mail it to you.

That rumor was associated with an old script before Singer came on board. I haven't heard it since. In fact, I seem to recall the actor playing Johnny talking about the training he was doing for the flying scenes. That would imply that he is going to flame on all over his body. Anyway, with a movie this big it would be a real let-down to cut corners on this essential element of the FF. The extra cost of the CGI will be miniscule compared to the box office take.

These pics don't really influence me one way or the other. I'll have to wait to see the trailer before deciding if I'm excited to see it.

I'm not sure.

I'll see it anyway, but I don't think I'll see anything beforehand that'll really sell me on the film.

Did anyone catch the studio trailer before it was yanked off the internet? It actually showed Johnny flying, flamed on.

I nicked the WMV version from another site (didn't get the original AVI in time). Looked fairly good.

Oh, and we see Doom's mask in it. Not that bad, and I wouldn't like to see a "real" version of his comic mask.

You can now find the Quicktime version, as well as some screen caps, here . I'd get it quick, who knows how long before they have to take it down.

Never been much of FF fan myself... however, I really like the actor playing Reed (Ioan Gruffudd). I took notice of him in the Horatio Hornblower series for A&E a while back. Jessica Alba looks good, but a little too tan for my vision of Sue. I'm not complaining though.

I'll probably drag my wife along to this one... she may not moan too much.

I think the pics of the Human Torch on fire look really awesome. Heck, even the way Reed was able to stretch underneath a door was great! If nothing else, the effects will be nice.

I dunno....i haven't seen or heard much on this movie that impresses me at all. I expect it to barely surpass the original FF movie.

Okay, really weird thing here. Yahoo! Movies has a 7 1/2 minute behind the scenes video with Stan Lee on the set. What's weird is their choice of background music. "Kryptonite" from 3 Doors Down. confused

The guy playing Doctor Doom is one of the most likeable 'cads' on screen that I've ever seen. I really think him and Chiklis as Doom and the Thing will be great.

I don't know about this movie. I don't forsee a lot of "Bah!"s and third person Doom dialogue. And what fun is that?
