L.E.G.I.O.N.?

There should be a law somewhere that says you can't profit from something you know nothing about.

Anything Giffen gets the bucks, I guess, regardless of quality. Bidding was $400+ when I looked at it.

That, o'course, was his "no space exists between nose and upper lip" subphase, part of -- I contend -- the far vaster ugliness that was the TMK era. No accounting for taste. (Nor for improvement. As the horrid recent "Legion" 31 art shows, he's still botching 'em up that way.)

As for confusing them with L.E.G.I.O.N., the TMK crew looked more 20th C cyberpunk than 30th C futuristic, anyway, so the clueless seller probably had little to go on if Net references were pulled up.

I loved this era of the Legion. Loved the art too. Certainly an acquired taste, but it was a perfect fit for the tone of the stories told at the time.

I still think the art is brilliant in its own way...the detail! Plus, this is from the first issue of Legion I ever purchased...but I sure as hell couldn't shell out that kind of jack for comic art.
