"far from home" finally aired over here in N.Y.

I put my MANY activites on hold,came home EARLY, relaxed and enjoyed my favorite heroes.
after years of hoping to see and hear the legion...it's good to see it come to pass...

I am a HAPPY CAMPER...

Not only that I remember video tape I still engage in that hobby... so you KNOW that I taped that episode.

I had the BIGGEST SMILE ON MY FACE FOR THE WHOLE 30 MINS. and the ending was beautiful...
Brainy and Kara was always my favorite couple, and it was so good to see them GET TOGETHER here...
I can't wait to buy the DVD...
I can watch it again...and again...and again......
call me greedy...but when will the Legion's new series air?

First JLU epi I have seen and it guest starred the legion. I was very happy.

I just wish that more legionaires had been used. Still, i got to see T-Wolf up there on the big screen. That ain't to shabby.

I did repeated searches on my DVR and JLU never came up on the schedule. Dammit! I'm so utterly ill with Cartoon Network and their obsessive schedule changes!

It wasn't a bad episode. I could have done without Green Arrow in yet another episode. I wish we could have seen more of the Legionnaires in action, but what was there was cool. And who says Bouncing Boy is a dumb character? He rocked! Still not sure what was up with Shadow Lass...

*sigh squared* When is this likely to be repeated?

Unfortunately CN seems to have stopped rerunning JLU altogether for the time being. In the past it had weekly airings around Noon on Saturday and it was also aired weeknights at 10:00 pm, but they seem to have all but given up on the show. I can't recall for certain, but it seems they weren't even airing it in the 10:30 Saturday night slot before these last episodes began showing. I'm frankly surprised that CN doesn't do a better job of promoting it's corporate sibling's properties.

I am personally hoping they'll pass JL/JLU over to sister network Boomerang, which airs the Batman and Superman series back to back at Midnight EST.

Like Matt said Steve, your chances are slim to none. I've not seen a JLU repeat on the CN schedule in months. Just the late Saturday night showing, one time. I've had the episode for months and I recorded this Saturday's to get the widescreen version so if you want a copy I'll be happy to oblige.

I'll make Steve sound better: I waited til the last minute to do my MOTHER'S taxes. Is there a "I am a bad son" smilie? But! I did watch the ep while doing them. Wait, that makes it sound worse, doesn't it?

Bouncing Boy was PERFECT in this episode!

I missed it! I had to work, but my awesome son taped it for me. Problem is, he didn't check the position of the tape and only got the very beginning. Bummer!

I loved it. Had a birthday party and BBQ earlier in the day but I was able to get ALMOST everyone out of the house in time to watch it with Kael (my 3 year-old HUGE DC superhero fan).

It felt nice to FINALLY see a new JLU episode. I really wish CN would get their heads out of the !@#$!@#$ and promote/rerun the show.

He he he. Gloat gloat, we got this ep way back in... ooh, February or the beginning of March or something. In fact CN (the UK version) are already half way through running the series (two episodes a week) after Toonami has already run it all teh way through and repeated them. I'm now catching up with the ones that I missed.

It is a nice episode though. Agree that it could have easily been done without GA and the whole thing with Shadow Lass having purple energy bolts (huh?) was just bizarre but overall it's a very fun episode and Chuck rocks in it.

Um, maybe after Grey's done with his copy he could COD it to me?

After watching the episode AGAIN, I had to get a new VCR tape and make a "repeat" copy (so I don't distroy the original).

anyway, BB rocks in this episode which goes to prove that even someone with "weak" powers could make an important contribution to the Legion

the "man to man" talk between Brainy and Green Arrow was "dead on" and it sort of bridged the gap between "the adult Justice League and the Youthful Legion... the "Junior" part was cute.

I loved the part when Supergirl first laid eyes on Brainiac 5...
Brainy: "My name is...."
Supergirl: "Brainiac!!!"
Brainy: "yes...how did you...uh oh..."
(priceless...simply priceless...)

then she mentioned that he's "SERIOUSLY CUTE"
I agree with Kara,she has good taste...)

liked the "going steady" part...Brainy just didn't catch "the hint"...

Pretty good fighting scene...but Phantom girl and Saturn girl didn't seem to be using their powers...
At the end when Kara was anoucing that she was staying with the legion (it was said that they were making goo-goo eyes at each other) however, I have a different perpective on that scene...

Yes, they were looking into each other's eyes, but they were also talking with their HEARTS!
His heart was asking,do you REALLY want to stay here in the future and with ME?
and her heart answered: YES!
because Brainy and Kara ARE SOUL MATES... and Kara is at her happiest when she is with the Legion...and with him.
while they were holding hands they looked "SO MARRIED...(*hint*hint*)

no new JLU for this weekend, but I'll be enjoying the ones I had already taped...
