For those of you who still have active accounts but don't play them much, COH is having a Halloween themed event starting today. There will be salvage drops from the Halloween missions that will allow your character to have a 5th costume slot ...

Woo hoo! Got Symphonium the costume slot, and you can use it right away! Gonna wait for I8 and veteran rewards, though.

I have a scrapper on Infinity who can now do the Trial of Transcendence. The range for this Trial is 12-15. Of course, you can be autoexemped for it.
Is there anyone who'd be interested in doing it?

When I logged off last night, the game started the Pre-I8 patch stuff, so it should be getting closer.

Also, for those still with accounts, they are giving the Elusive badge away in the month of November to celebrate the 1st anniversary of CoV.

Tempting, but I bet you can't fit into the tailor shop right now.

I hopped onto the test server and tried out a few things.
The trenchcoat looks pretty nice, I think but it looks like you can only have one color on it. You can choose whatever color you want, but you can only have a solid color.
The wings are really outstanding in my opinion. They obviously spent a lot of time and effort on them, and it shows. The only complaints that I have about them so far is that the place where they join your back looks a little lower to me than it should be ... and if you don't have flight or hover you're not going to get any motion out of them at all.

Jamie Heroes get one too. This past-Halloween marked one year of villainy in the City of... universe. In recognition of City of Villains's first anniversary, Cryptic and NCsoft are pleased to announce two exclusive badges: the Elusive badge, for Villains; and the Pursuer badge, for Heroes.
Players can earn the badges simply by logging into City of Heroes or City of Villains until the end of November.
Remember that these badges are awarded on a per-character basis – if you have more than one hero or villain, you’ll need to log in each of them before the end of November to receive the badges.

It looks like I8 may be going live tomorrow ... at the very least, it's going to be soon because the servers will be down extra long tomorrow in prep for it...

Your toons look fantastic Vee I have logged in the last couple of days trying to get wings on my toons and grabbing the bonus powers, new badge title and base swag for each. It's still taking about 10 mins each to get in because of everyone else trying to do the same thing, but it's worth it. I also have a Dawnstar and I will *try* to get a screenshot of her. The trench coat thing is cracking me up. Everyone in Paragon City is tripping over all the Neo's and Matrix Lad's, *barf* And it still bothers me when people have no concept of correct body sizing and facial structure. For example the majority of the 'Neo's' being born in the past few days look 11 years old. They are too short, too thin and have the face of a child. And yet, these guys want to be taken seriously and try to boss around others when grouped, and worse, to pull off lewd comments to 'female' toons. But anyway, I'm still splitting my focus between CoH/CoV and WoW, and still having fun. Getting excited for the holiday events and options to show up. I loved the jet-packs for the holidays last year Rock on fellow gamers!!! *kisses*

This tempts me to reup my sub to the game. I've been immersed in WoW since the summer though and I'm not sure I could pull myself away long enough!

It also rules that you can make a lvl 1 toon and have wings!!!!! Of course you still can't fly until opening flight at lvl 6, but what the heck! A veteran can have capes or wings right from the start. Remember how long we had to wait for capes back in the day? Now we all have something over all the whipper-snappers..... LOL
