Look what I got on ebay for $12: Okay, for $12 it wasn't as pristine-looking as this image of it, but good enough for me!

And it is essentially the Power Girl original costume except for the coloring and the booties.

And then there was that whole Lana Lang as Incest Queen thing.
I know she's from the incest heartland and everything, but still it was shocking to me to see her not only announcing her incest but pronouncing herself QUEEN of it!

I am sorry, but you must have mistaken Kansas for ARkansas or Tennessee or better yet, West Virginia has the highest rates of Uncle Daddy in the US...... Born and raised in KS, so let's be a little more careful with the plucky wit....

How did all this Superman & his cousin stuff get past the Comics Code grannies? I wonder how many Silver Age stories featured this theme....

They were aliens... who were the CCA to judge the morals and proclivities of otherworldly beings?

Honestly, they're a better couple than most.
They should have been together.

mwf6171, from someone born and raised in WV, let's be careful with the so-called plucky wit; I think we may find YOUR Aunt Mama out in the wheat field...

Sorry if it upsets you, but to state that KS is the in the heart of incest land is just incorrect. True there is an area in KS where it has/does occur, but not to the magnification of other areas. And, sorry, my mother wasn't from KS, but good try....

Oh for goodness sakes, it's nothing to get hung up about.
From the rate of teen births to the divorce rate, there's plenty of debauchery to go round.
The real question is why Lana would make such a public declaration!

The weird thing is how they argue against it in that story. "Here on Earth, in some countries, cousins can get married! But that wasn't allowed on Krypton, so we can't! Oh well, let's just find precise duplicates of each other!"
Just go ahead and do it, guys. It's not like they can throw you in jail!

Maybe Kal-El was so shaken up by making out with another man's wife (and a Legionnaire to boot!), that he didn't realize he was kissing a replica of his cute cousin?

He was shaken up by something...he spends the entire story alternately standing there looking confused and doing whatever Supergirl tells him.

Plus she had the Merman, normal guy, and who knows how many others.

How about this imaginary story from Jimmy Olsen #56. Where the son of Jimmy Olsen and Lucy Lane hooks up with the daughter of Superman and Lois Lane.

Given the number of robots, mind controlled relationships, alien species, and goodness knows how much...
again I maintain....
pretty damn tame in comparison.
Go for the steamy Supergirl loving Supes!
BTW- Anyone notice Imra didn't object too much to Superman's kisses?
