And then there was that whole Lana Lang as Incest Queen thing.
I know she's from the incest heartland and everything, but still it was shocking to me to see her not only announcing her incest but pronouncing herself QUEEN of it!

Sorry if it upsets you, but to state that KS is the in the heart of incest land is just incorrect. True there is an area in KS where it has/does occur, but not to the magnification of other areas. The weird thing is how they argue against it in that story. "Here on Earth, in some countries, cousins can get married! But that wasn't allowed on Krypton, so we can't! Oh well, let's just find precise duplicates of each other!"
