YES!!! I am another step closer to my prediction that Lauren will take the title of American Idol this season!

A female is waaaay overdue but my prediction is she will be second to Scotty, with James third.

I guess I'm giving a backwards review from normal; my most favorite to least....

I keep liking Haley more and more. I agree with the judges that singing an unreleased Gaga song might not have been the brightest idea for her. In fact, I was thinking she could have done Gaga's "Speechless" and made a bigger impact. However, I thought she was great. THEN, she came out and sang "House of the Rising Sun" and she was just totally incredible! LOVE! (edit- I also kinda thought about Beyonce's "Halo" as a good choice for Haley for some reason. IDK.)

Scotty totally impressed me I think for the first time. His rockin' country song was cool and "Always On My Mind" (one of my all time favorites ever) was just perfect.

I didn't care for James' first song. I thought his screeching was off. I loved his super emotional ballad. Fine.... I admit it! I cried! (It doesn't really take *that* much, though.)

Lauren did a great job on her rockin' country song, too. She did okay (IMO) on "Unchained Melody." She's so cute!

Jacob made a mess of "No Air." Sorry, didn't like it at all. But I do think he redeemed himself with "Love Hurts." (I want to hear a full version of Sheryl Crow unplugged on that song!) I really like when an R&B singer adds extra soul and church to mainstream pop songs, so I wish he would have done that more often this season. I think he'll be out tomorrow, which is a bummer. I really like what he serves.

One step closer to an accurate prediction. GO LAUREN!!!

Another dissapointing season...the 2 dullest are in the finale? Should have been Pia, James, Haley, and Jacob. Worst year since Scary Underwear won. I think the big winners are Steven Tyler and F.A. Lopez.

So I now have a 50/50 chance at being correct about predicting the winner of this year's American Idol.

Well, it's off the races! Mmmmmm.... maybe I'll just wait until Wednesday night and see what happens, just to make sure!

I didn't think the season was actually 'dull'.
A lot of it was fun!
More recently, I really loved the duet with James and Scotty about joining a band and Haley's 'House of the Rising Sun'.

Scotty will be the winner, imo.
MLLASH was right and who ever called it practically from the beginning, which ever net group.

I lost interest when I realize it was SOOOOOO predictable.

Anyway, I'm glad your having fun, fk.

Congrats to Scottie!!! I'm sure both he and Lauren are set in the music industry now.

The only part of this season I saw was a few minutes tonight. I witnessed the last few moments of Tom Jones (huh?) and the Lady Gaga "thing"...very icky in itself, but particularly after just meeting the school choral teachers of the teenage finalists.
