The way I read it was that they didn't know she had Quoi. Which I guess suits her just fine.

Yeah, if that's the way you're putting it (and, even if that one said she'd had her kid, I doubt they'd believe he was the Cosmic Messiah any more than anything else she might spout). For a minute there I thought you thought that she'd been pregnant for 20 years!

I thought the Star Lord book has ben the best so far. I enjoyed the story. I love that Rocket Raccoon and Bug are being used. I like the art a lot too. As for Wraith, blah. Dumped it immediately. Had no use for it. Quasar, I like Wendall better. I still hope they bring him back. The story was fairly boring and the characters uninteresting I thought in the first issue. I'll give it a shot the whole way through since it is "Qusar", but my hopes are not high. Really looking forward to the rest of Star Lord.

The prologue was good. The Quasar book definitely has the best art. But yeah I think I have every issue of Wendall's Quasar series.
The art in the Starlord book isn't far behind though and the story definitly looks the best in Starlord. I really like the art especially the flat pastel colour palette. I agree on Wraith. When we get to the main series the summary page will explain it well enough.

While I'm a huge fan of Wendell I am liking Gage's Quasar book. I'm a sucker for Priests of Pama and Titanian Eternals.

Anybody else read the latest Quasar or Wraith?
Maybe I didn't catch that she was infected by the Phalanx? Why is she losing control like that?
Oh and the last page? Moondragon...indeed. Not sure what to make of that.

Oh I know it was the Dragon of the Moon. I just don't know why? Not sure if it's going to be good or not.

I didn't read the first issues of those two, but I picked up the Starlord series, and its been brillant so far. So I'm getting that and Nova...how are the other two? I figure they're at least good, but my comic book budget is so jam-packed already (despite dropping quite a bunch of crappy DC and Marvel titles).
Really, really looking forward to the rest of the Starlord series!

Quasar, I can't recommend.
Wraith, I'm kinda on the fence about.

Yeah, I didn't pick up Quasar b/c I really just don't like the character. Still bitter about what happened to Genis and really don't see the point about killing the first Quasar if there's now already a second.

Starlord #2 came out, and I was really looking forward to it. I felt a little let down by it. I enjoyed it, but not quite as much as the forst issue. Not sure why really. Art was great I thought. Story was...I dunno. Too fast? Too slow? The characters did not quite mesh maybe. Maybe it was we were just thrown in with them this issue, and did not get to see any interaction together before this? We did lose two members already showing this is a serious book too. I like this mini the best of all the Annilation stuff by far. The covers are spectacular also! Look forward to the next issue of Starlord. Already dropped Wraith and Quasar after the first issues....

Starlord #2 fell flat for me. Have I mentioned I hate everybody in the same costume? Not happy about Deathcry. I always thought she had potential. Mantis on the other hand is playing a great role. She's the leader! Forget Peter.

Put bluntly, with two down, I wouldn't bet on Bug, RR, Mantis or this Captain Universe making it out of the mini.

Still cannon fodder.
Bug, Mantis, and the RR I think are safe though.

I'm sure Mantis is safe. Can't say the same about anyone other than Star Lord.
I thought issue #2 was still pretty good. I like how they all mesh together, and I really like how the Annihilation Wave continues to matter in the cosmic scope. Hated to see the first member bite it, but the other one had a good end.
I don't expect Captain Universe to live through this.
But has been fun so far.
Also, I'm really enjoying the Nova storyline too.

Quasar? Eh. I like it but... It got very Joan of Arc this issue. Don't like what happened to Moondragon. I don't mind certain aspects of it...but the physical change? eh.

Talked about Nova elsewhere. Phyla & Wraith can both be summed up with one word - crap. Star-Lord, I'll spoiler tag... Shockingly, everyone who made it to SL4 got out alive - Deathcry's the only casualty in the whole mini. Granted, Captain Universe is depowered, but he'd held the power for too long anyway. Basically, it was "Good". Not as good as Nova #4-7, but good. And, so to Conquest-proper #1... Remember how I said in the Nova thread that it seemed like DnA were retreading their Legion work a bit in that series? Well, we've just had a reveal that the main villain bent on conquest, controlling the metallic race which has engaged an impenetrable forcefield around their new domain, is a robot who hates his organic "father", a scientist who's been a major hero for decades. I mean, come on guys. If Ultron ISN'T the Marvel version of Computo, the parallel is just a teensy bit close for comfort...

I didn't think Phyla was crap but I don't think it was much better. Chris overused the Joan of Arc parallel. Also don't like what he did with Moodragon.
Wraith? That was pretty bad. I like the fact that he is Kree but has a very fantastic origin. The mini did nothing for me.
The wierd part is the end of both minis have the appearance of the same character. Kind of confusing.

The timeline interweaves, but it's actually pretty simple: First, of course, is the Prologue.
Of the lead-in minis/arcs, Nova is first, with #4-6 overlapping the end of the Prologue and continuing on for about a day. (#7 is later, but stands alone - all you need to know is that it's after #6 and before Conquest #1)
Star-Lord #1 is next after Nova #4-6 and doesn't take that much time. #2-(most of) 4 are a day or so later, with a "later" epilogue that's between the rest of #4 and Conquest #1 again.
Phyla & Wraith are the two mins that interveave, and the "marker" for them is not the start but the end - the Intellgence Supreme's ghost disappears in Phyla #4 because that's the moment Wraith absorbs it in Wraith #4. Phyla leads directly into Conquest #1, and Wraith runs a little later, but is also picked up in Conquest #1.
This adds up to a rough continuity order of ("rough" = issue-by-issue rather than page-by-page; "~" means "simultaneous"):
Prologue Nova #4-6 Star-Lord #1-4 Nova #7 Phyla #1-4 ~ Wraith #1-4 Conquest #1-6
