not only that, but what's with Turner and faces. if it weren't for the costume I wouldn't be able to tell Power Girl from Black Canary.

It's funny more than anything. I also think there's something wrong with her neck. Could just be the optical illusion from the asymmetrical cape but it looks off center to me.

for example, I think Halle Berry is a good looking woman. when she walks onto the beach in that Bond film, sexy.

but she looked laughable in that Cat Woman suit. it was like your favorite meal being served up on a garbage can lid.

I certainly don't find that particular drawing attractive.

While I don't have a problem in principle with giving Power Girl large boobs, once you start making them bigger than her head, that's a little bit of a problem. Plus trying to draw her with massive boobs while simultaneously giving her an extremely skinny waist just makes things look hideously disproportionate.

Incidentally, though, anyone else betting that Dream Girl will be the third person on that cover?

Ah, I see. Yeah, that's just a bit silly, those are way too big. She's got superstrength. No need for arms that big.

Seriously though, nothing against big boobs or anything but that drawing is simply not attractive and what's with the elf ears?

Why exactly are we subjected to Turner covers on JLofA. Didn't he sign a Marvel Exclusive?

I think Benes' work is much more attractive.

I actively look for the alternate covers these days. Give me the interior artist's version over a "hotshot" cover artist.

Once I found my way to it, I liked her face.

Black Canary's face looks wrong, 'though. A little too gen-whatever with the foreward swept hair thing. Black Canary's like '28' going on 40 or something, so that hair just makes her look like she's trying too hard. (Not saying she should look *old,* but she's *always* looked mature. There was never a sense that she was a teeny-bopper, or wanted to be mistaken for one...)

Turner draws the sambe basic gril over and over. His males are sub par at best. I don't understand the fascination.
