Newsarama spotlight on Classical Comics

Very interesting. These guy have made graphic novels out of Macbeth. Henry V, Jane Eyre, Great Expectations, Frankenstein, and Christmas Carol.

Each graphic novel has three different text versions. By this I mean the panels/artwork are the same but they have a Original Text, Plain Text, and Quick Text versions.

Original text is the classical version, etc.

Plain text I believe is a modern translation.

Quick text is your average comic. I will probably buy a few and get some in quick text and others in plain text.

They have options to buy on Amazon UK. Any Americans ever order from Amazon UK?

Interesting concept - I wonder which version will sell best. The artwork looks a whole lot better than in the old Classic Comics.

I've ordered from Amazon UK - and France and Germany, as well. It's just the same as from the US division, but higher shipping and you probably get hosed a bit on the exchange rate with a credit card.

Yeah, US exchange rates are great for us at the moment but will probably be a complete bugger for you guys (I think it's $2.10 to the £ at the moment). Ordering from Amazon from different countries is usually pretty reliable though as long as you check the shipping rates and make sure there isn't any duty to pay.

So when Dream Girl was holo/reading MacBeth back in issue 2 or so, maybe this is what she was looking at.
