Actually, there was a great place that used to be a carlot that had a perfect building and tons of parking that I kept looking at on the way home from work. Day in and day out I'd tell myself what a great store it would make. Of course it sold to another carlot. With the house there is no way I could have swung it. But it would have been fun. Especially since SLC has only 2 comicbook stores left. Tennessee is also a hot-bed for scrapbooking!

Caroline probably has as much scrapbooking stuff as I have comics. In fact she's got a card table set up in the living room right now (I haven't set up our shared office downstairs yet) with tons and tons of pictures of the house in various stages of construction and she's working on the book for that.
We must have taken a minimum of 20 rolls of film during the construction just so she could scrapbook it.

Will do as soon as I get my scanner up and running. Probably will just use the pages Caroline has put together for her scrapbook so you get the full story.

Wow Icey, my dream job has always been to work in a comics store!
I also recommend BoP! Especially now with the uber-HOT art of Ed Benes and the witty yet exciting writing of Gail Simone!

Matt, to be honest, I kept waiting to see if there was going to be a rape scene in the issue. The only thing just seemed really eerie and disturbing to me with the Savant stuff.
I recommend this title to anyone not reading it, and like Lash said, the art is one of the major reasons. Huntress is sure looking hot these days!

no sir...dinah drop the wig a number of years ago. actually it was waaaaay back when _birds of prey_ was just a one-shot.
she's blond-in-a-bottle now.
it was the ether that knocked her out cold.

I'm a little torn about my feelings on BoP. I mean, I remember when Black Canary was one of DC's biggest hand-to-hand combatants, and now she's been getting training from the new Batgirl?
And I don't really care for the way she was handled during that whole Savant storyline.
I dunno. Admittedly, I didnt start reading BoP regularly until Gail and Ed came on board, but I did pick up some sporadic issues previously. It seems to me like the characters are being handled quite a bit differently from how the previous team handled them. I just haven't decided if I feel that's good or bad yet.
Some people are like slinkys: not really good for anything, but they bring a smile to your face when you knock them down a flight of stairs

I got the last couple of issues based on some reviews from you guys and it looks like I have a new regular book. The art is GREAT. Benes' art is looking more and more like Maduriera's, and since Maduriera can't be bothered to pick up a pencil any more... that's a good thing.
Nice writing also. I really liked Canary and Shiva's storyline.
