DC missed the train by not offering Land a mega-bucks exclusive after his CROSSGEN stint folded.

Land's Storm looks amazing!
Wonder Woman looks bad-ass!
And Jade looks great too! Good covers all around! I think Jade is getting a bigger role in Outsiders, and I'm all for it.

Wonder Womem getting the treatment she deserves. Wouldn't mind a bit of that between the covers. Uh, I meant the comic. We'll certainly get a treat with Lightle doing the next cover and Turner has been doing terrific portraits on the Flash book. http://www.dccomics.com/comics/images/May2004/pic_lrgflsh210cvr.jpg

Another of Mr. Land's pieces of ART. From the upcoming Nightcrawler series. If Marvel doesn't release his work as posters, especially the Storm cover from Uncanny X-Men #449 they will be missing out on buckets of money.

Okay, we need an X-Men posterbook. Land is just kicking ASS! Why the hell didn't DC sign him to an exclusive when they had him?

For Marvel, in September, Land is doing SEVEN covers. Five of them X-Men related titles, the Black Widow series and one for Daredevil.

Are these painted covers, or is Land soley the penciller? I see three signatures on each so I assume it's penciller, inker, and colorist? Now this colorist is freakin brilliant; I'm jealous. I keep one of their BoP covers as my desktop.

Solicitations solely list Land as the cover artist. I'm not sure but I believe he is just responsible for the pencils. I've tried to find an official site, fan site or YahooGroup for him but none seem to exist.

Anything Land draws is beautiful! I've yet to find an exception. I agree with Ronda too...from looking at the above covers I really like the colors from the unnamed colorist accompanying him.

Justin Ponsor's been coloring Land's stuff since CrossGen, and I'm assuming "Ryan" is inker Matt Ryan. These guys are really gelling, kinda like Davis & Farmer, or Byrne & Austin.
That Gambit is STELLAR.

Well since I posted all of the others, here are the last two Land covers for the month of September. This one is the cover to Uncanny X-Men #448.

And this is the Storm mentioned on page one of this thread. For Uncanny X-Men #449. This piece belongs in the Louvre.
