Not sure if I should post this here or in "Bits" (as I'm really doing a shameless plug...but it has nothing to do with Legion or Fan Art).  I was wondering if there was going to be anyone going to Heroes Con in Charlotte, NC next weekend: http://www.heroesonline.com/con-update.htm Unfortunately, I won't be able to go...but the cool news I have is that I will have some work being shown there at the Mutantville Productions booth. I am in the process of doing a small comic for them that will be distributed as a bonus feature on one of their low budget independent films. I'm not 100% sure at this point whether they will be showing the actual comic there or if it is going to be more promotional in nature (ala character Bio sheets and a "Cover" along with samples of the sequentials). Needless to say, although this isn't a huge major deal in the overall scheme of things...I'm quite excited about it. In particular, I've worked out a "visual style" for this small comic that I'm quite happy with...one that's a little different than my usual stuff...and I'm hoping will translate well to a sequential art look with 3D.

Hope it goes well, Draub. I live over the line in South Carolina, but i doubt i will get up there for it.
I tend to be a purist that just reads the comics. Still, if i one day have the money, i would love to attend one just to see how it goes.

I live close enough to NC that I find it odd I've never planned a trip to Heroes Con.
Maybe sometime in the future, but right now I'm (mostly) patiently awaiting San Diego.

Sorry I haven't gotten back to the thread since I posted it. Thanks for the encouragement.  Unfortunately, the only thing that is getting show in a "Cover". From what I've been told it's been received well, so I can't complain. Hopefully soon I'll be able to post a link to the image...I'm just waiting for the okay.
