Um, yeah that is scary. I doubt this is a permanent change but I have to admit...I got scared.

Another great issue, and it captured what I think a lot of Marvel fans feel, or at least would feel if they lived on 616. (I'll paraphrase since its not in front of me): "I think the world's gone psycho, and I want off".
I feel that and I live on Earth-Prime. Now regarding issue 4. Which one of the neighbours is having a barbeque and didn't invite me?

I am really enjoying this series. Great action with enough of a human/emotional element to keep the character interesting. Always at the top of my reads for that week. And the Worldmind seems to be getting more interesting maybe some of Richrd's humanity rubbing off? Or maybe I am just making that up myself...
I just can't BLOK it out!

I like the development here with the "select" members of the Phalanx and how they maintain their individuality with only their allegiance and motivation redirected. The fact that Nova has been infected gives me hope for the spaceknights' being put back to normal by story's end.

Now, I enjoyed Nova #7, and want to make that clear right off the bat...
...but does anyone else feel we've just been given Nova Rifts, Nova of the Damned and are about to get Nova Lost?

DnA... they tell one story, very well... That said, I ordered the first trade from DCBS with this month's preorders. I figured it deserves at least a shot for all the !@#% I've given you about it, 'Boot...

"They have an extensive roll call, like the Shi'ar Imperial Guard," notes Abnett.
I'm sorry Dan -- an extensive roll call like who??

'Cause he's not cool enough. He has to settle for meeting the Impie Legion knock-offs. I'm fairly certain Drake was referring to DnA's involvement with the Legion. You're being obtuse.

Oh, I figured out the Legion/IG bit as soon as I posted "huh" - but in a Marvel press release on Marvel.com, you REALLY expect them to mention the Legion? A clue - no.

The way Marvel's been mining the Legion for creative talent over the years-- Shooter, Cockrum, Coipel, DnA, even Kolins, though they weren't interested in him 'til his FLASH work-- a shoutout would be nice, if it weren't beneath them...

Question-- I read the pre-Annihilation: Conquest tie-in issues of Nova and loved it. Will not reading the whole crossover leave me lost in a sea of "huh?" or can I get the gist well enough?

You can read just the Nova issues fine. There's practically no direct tie-in (one page matches one page of the Prologue) with anything else so far.
(DO NOT read Wraith if you're following Nova, however, or you WILL be "lost in a sea of 'huh?'". I am....)

'Boot is right on. You can read Nova and you wouldn't even know there's a crossover. I skipped Wraith completely.

CBR goes for the Nova Weekend trifecta, interviewing Dynamo5's Mahmud Asrar on his working with DnA on Nova Annual #1: http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/newsitem.cgi?id=12874 Spoilerish preview art, naturally. Oh, and I'm adding this book to my preorders with #12. Happy, 'Boot?

I just read the last few issues. My last was the one where the kree woman died.
Anyways, Rich manages to suddue the Phalanx virus. Nice. Sadly, it takes about 80% of his power to keep it subdued. The more he uses it the more the virus takes control again.
He escapes from the Phalanx knowing he can't take them right now. And what happens next is interesting ans suprising.
He gets thrown into an unknown part of space. The edge of the universe literally. They show a cool scene in the past where Starlord tries to explain to Rich about the edge of space. He ends up in the decaptitated head of a Celestial. And there seems to be a community leaving inside.
There is a russian dog cosmonaut that is really interesting. Has cool telepath powers. Cosmo is his name. There is an Avengers type team from the planet Xarth Three. They have imprisoned their nemesis villain Abyss there. His containment has been damaged and he is able to use his powers somewhat. His powers? He makes live people into DEAD ZOMBIES.
The Mighty Luminals little by little become zombies and battle Nova. There is a quartet that seems very much like the FF. Except the leader is a bit more like Cap or Karate Kid than Reed Richards.
Anyways, Rich beats the super-zombies. The next issue wasn't as fun. He ends up again in a wierd place. It's kind of like the Bermuda Triangle of space. Gamora is with him. They team up cause they are being attacked. DnA delve into their former romance more.
Nova is a good comic!
