I wonder if they will bring back Adam X. He may be the half brother to Scott and Alex. Ofcourse he wasn't really a Summers. Chris Summers wasn't his dad atleast.

Or, if after...is D'Ken Adam's actual father?

In CAPTAIN MARVEL #3 (FEB 1996), Davan Shakari (Eric the Red) reveals that Adam X's father is D'Ken. I can't remember what comic actually depicted D'Ken's rape of Katherine Summers, but I remember reading it.

Is it just me or does "Deadly Genesis" remind anyone else of "Identity Crisis" in terms of retconning in a dark secret into the history of the team (and Xavier in this case), coloring our perceptions of the past into something darker(and probably less heroic)?

Drake, mildly. Have to read the story see if it is similiar. As of right now I say...nah. But who knows. If Xavier starts mind wiping people...and is the reason behind the Summers' getting kidnapped by aliens...them um yes.

There was an issue solely consisting of Adam-X where in not so many words they said he was a Summers boy, Katherine Summers had been tested on by the Sh'iar or somesuch. I think it was the issue of X-Men just before LegionQuest kicked off, and then everything was forgotten after AOA.

They never outright said that he had any relationship to Katherine Summers. It was all inuendo. But that, as well as the Captain Marvel v2 (Genis's first book) #3 made it pretty clear that it was the case.
