i agree Miner.
i have always thought both suffered from bad characterization.
However, Lorna does win for me just because of her longevity and the skull on her costume.
She scares me a little. In a good way. lol

hmm, Frankie is more crazy which might help in a fight but ... Lorna's done alot more way awesome tricks with her powers. it's all in the names: a) Polaris = cool name. It's a star, and a missile, and other cool sounding science stuff. b) Magenta = is a color DC!!! a color!!! MAG-netism .. MAG-genta ... uh no, not really.

Polaris wins because in the end Francis was just another girlfriend. Her origin is the same as Elasti-Girl's from the Doom Patrol, and the origin of her insanity was bizarre. At least Lorna had a reasonable excuse.
