First, Bananas is the answer I gave and the judge for that question pick it.
I can't think of an argument I resolved, but when my father and aunt would talk, one would mis-hear the other and answer the wrong question. They wouldn't so much fight and get annoyed with each other. I did manage to get a client to understand our position after my boss got upset while trying to explain things to him.
SAPBM,

wow, bananas. What a coincidence.
Samurai X (Rurouni Kenshin) is an anime about a former assassin during the Tokugawa Shogunate of Japan. When the Shogunate falls and gives way to the Meiji Era, the assassin takes on a new identity and vows never to take another life.

Since the live action version is at the flicks at the moment, I always liked the Ghost in the Shell anime. A complex plot with political intrigue married to a hard sci fi future with lots of action and a team ethic.

Ghost in the Shell was the first movie I watched in a French theater. I'll go with that, it was quite a good one. Nice plot, nice characters. I'm not familiar with the original source work, but I enjoyed the movie just the same.
SAPBM,
What movie do you like most of all?

Victor/Victoria, though I know it's really dated now. It's been awhile since I've seen it.

Have you ever been subjected to a film so terrible that you walked out before it ended? If so, which one?

I never have walked out of a movie, but... I was watching Millenium, a 1989 movie starring Cheryl Ladd & Kris Kristofferson. The basic plot was that people from the future were taking people off of planes that were about to crash to repopulate the Earth. Right near the end, the movie/projector broke. It took them about 10 minutes for them to fix. After waiting all that time, all that remained was a voice over narrations saying "It is not the end. It is not the beginning of the end. It is the end of the beginning."
I was so mad.

SAPBM,
Tell us about something annoying like the above that happened to you Had a medication review with the doc on Monday. She wanted to do a follow-up consult and also an (unrelated) exam, so the assistant came back after we were done talking to help me get those scheduled. An hour or so later, I was finishing lunch at the grocery store deli, and I got a call saying that the exam had been scheduled at the wrong location. So we needed to change it. We did, but it took 15-20 minutes, a callback, and 1-2 transfers to get that done. Three hours later, I'm home trying to work. I get another phonecall saying that the phone consult time needed to be changed, too. Saga About Physicians Bedeviled Monday So how's the weather where you are?

P.S. -- At least lunch was quite delicious.
Fun fact: If you get to the lunch area steam table at 11:45 AM instead of 6:45 PM, the food is fresh and delicious and not at all embalmed in flavor.
Who knew?

It's a bit overcast. It's not even drizzling, but it's thinking about it. Not cold, not warm. Just meh.

I'm not sure how to define "lesser Legionnaire". But I'll go with "not Adventure-era level popular" and "not in the Daxamite/Kryptonian class of powers".
Kinetix's powers are incredibly useful in real life - I could fly, repair damaged things, and protect myself from harm with shields. I wouldn't even have to buy new clothes anymore!
Runners-up would be
Veilmist for the teleportation;
Sensor so I could sneak around places (I would use that to travel to places I can't legally be without a tourist visa, which is like 120 countries in the world including most of the top tourist spots, don't get me started or I will rant for paragraphs);
Shikari/Dawnstar so I would never lose anything ever again (I could finally find out what happened to the pair of sunglasses I lost last year!)
Brainiac 5 to be super smart and get any job I want OR make myself insanely rich by starting my own cool business;
Triad/Duplicate Damsel so I can be in many places at once. Yay productivity!

Today, I'd go with Dawny. The super fast flight would take humanity out into the stars. Well, it would take equipment and genetic material out into the stars. Humans can come along when they learn to behave themselves.

I'd probably like to say something really nice about someone, without it coming across as having any strings attached. Saying something mean says a lot about the person making the comment. Which brings me to... Sound Advice Predates Budding Mates Same question
