Well convergence is over and the crisis on infinite earth is erased and every pre crisis world is back now maybe we can get the original legion of superheroes title back with kal el superboy and supergirl and all original history intact i think we will hear about a new legion title by the end of the year hopefully it will be late 70s early 80s legion with maybe a true legion feel with many more younger members it can be done with a good writer and make it a digital comic to see fan response

I want MY legion, which only existed between March and Oct of 1966. I'd imagine they'd update for modern sensibilities, where diversity meant more than alien or different color hair, much like they have many of the tv versions. Hopefully, they don't go overboard and turn Lightning Lad into an eel-like alien.

Wait, the Crisis wasn't erased.
They're saying it DID happen.
Typical DC. Crisis did happen but all the worlds that were erased/merged weren't. Zero Hour happened but the worlds before and after exist. Basically whatever version of the DCU a writer wants to use can be used but presumably for on-offs/minis not for ongoings.

the crisis on infinite earth is erased They're saying it DID happen. The comic that changes due to the reader! Finally the perfect Legion comic awaits, where we each get the team we want!Future archive threads are going to be a bit confusing though...

http://www.newsarama.com/24643-major-spoilers-dc-s-convergence-concludes-undoes-crisis.htmlI'm sorry but I just don't understand how they're saying the worlds still exist when they're saying the Earths "evolved." If they evolved then we still don't have pre-Zero Hour, pre-Flashpoint, or pre-ANYTHING. If they're saying that "everything still happened before Flashpoint," well... isn't that basically the same assumption we've all been operating on for the last four years?

And if they DO exist, then when are we getting pre-Flashpoint regular ongoing books again.

Does this mean that Thom and Dirk are still dead though?

I have to admit this has left my head spinning.... So does the Original/Retroboot Legion still exist? Is this why the Reboot Legionnaires were seen in Justice League United "Infinitus Saga" as a Composite Legion? Just exactly what Legion timeline and continuity are we now dealing with?
If flashpoint is what has been erased, then Star Boy and Sun Boy are still alive, just like we saw in Lemire's Legion, but Gates, XS, Chameleon Girl, etc. would still be members of the current Origional/Retroboot Legion? I just don't want the Legion drug back to the 1980's. Legion continuity since then is too important.

With a multiverse, all versions of the Legion can be in continuity.
Silver Age Weisinger Adult Legion continuity, Bronze Age Earth-1, post-Crisis Pocket Universe stuff, Glorithverse, Reboot, Threeboot, Retroboot, whatever the hell it was that showed up in Justice League United, Superboy's Legion, etc.

Think HUGE, Legion fans!! If the next LSH book doesn't include all members from all eras (originals anyway, no need for Dream Boy), it's a space-crime. And NO EXPLANATION. They're just THERE. Fine, even that awful Harmonia.

Fortunately most of Legion history wasn't effected by Crisis on Infinite Earths, so maybe the Legion won't be changed much by Convergence.
What might change: the deaths of Kid Psycho, Superboy, Infinite Man and maybe Supergirl. What else in Legion history would be changed by this?

Everything happened.
Each panel in every comic is its own little alternate universe, with its own past and futures.
There actually are places where Superman has one white hand, or a single yellow boot.
Chaos reigns! All hail Vandaemon!

Yes, Superboy and Supergirl are dead. (Spoler Alert: Everybody dies.)
But the Superboy who was a member of the Legion also grew up to be Superman, and lived at least into the 864th century. And the Supergirl who was a member of the Legion both survived and died during the Crisis.
There is no "real" Superboy. There are thousands, or millions, or uncountably many "real" Superboys, and just as many possible futures for each of them.

Yes!
There's an Earth in which Superman, not having seen his friends for many years, travels to the future to find out Shadow Lass is dead and the Legion has admitted the descendants of Lex Luthor and Mr. Mxyzptlk!
There's an Earth in which Superboy grows up to become Superman (who works at WGBS in his secret identity), and Shadow Lass doesn't die and members like Quislet and Tellus join!
There's an Earth in which the Time Trapper alters the historical record to deceive the Legion into thinking Superman started his career as a teen (and he had a cousin named Supergirl), even though none of this occurred and the Superboy they've met was really from a Pocket Universe!
There's an Earth in which Superman has whatever the hell his history was post-Infinite Crisis and the retroboot stuff happens!
There's an Earth in which Chief Parker is a criminal, an apelike being, or even a woman!

It really is hard to put my mind around all of this, that the multiverse which was destroyed in 1985 is now back in 2015. On one hand, this changes everything. On the other hand, maybe this changes nothing. We'll just have to see what the next Legion writer decides to do with Convergence with regards to the future of the Legion or should I say Legions...

I googled "Weird DC Comic Books" because Captain Carrot, Hoppy the Marvel Bunny, and Ultra the Multi-Alien are just perfectly normal parts of the New 52 DC Universe now.
So this is what I found:
Alan Ladd, Comic Book Cowboy (and father of Alan Ladd, Jr., producer of Star Wars)
Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis Comics
Bob Hope Adventures (super-misogyny, super-racism AND super-homophobia!)
All canon now.

I don't understand all these earths. Things should be simpler so that I can understand them. I'm going to go read something less complicated, such as titles published by competing comics companies.

First of all, the Crisis did happen but now, supposedly, the result changed so that the infinite multiverse (not the one with only 52 universes) is back. Yes, its true that DC has been hyping that all of the continuities are back but, at the last minute, it appears that they've pulled (another) fast one on us. If you look at the two double-pages ward the end of the book, you'll notice that the prior continuities are there but that they've been "evolved" (as the book puts it) to still fit in with the current Morrison-esque Nu52 multiverse. Take note of the prior continuities being washed or faded out while the newer 'evolved' versions are foreground. For instance, look at the old continuity of Earth 2 featuring the original Justice Society, wiped away... excuse me, I meant to use the DC euphemism 'evolved', in favor of the Nu52 Earth-2 continuity. Does that mean that our favorites are still out there on Earth-53 or Earth-1000000 or Earth-God only knows? Maybe. But as far as DC delivering on what its promised.... don't hold your breath. On a positive note, at least we got to see the SW6 Legion again in the Blue Beetle mini.
